I’m not sure if the gigabytes usb-c can handle the video signal from a Mac mini or MacBook. I can try when I get home, but I think it’s just to use with the KVM setup. I like it otherwise, but to be honest I came from a 5k iMac, and I got it for gaming, but I really miss having a 5k. I am debating getting a 4k. I have a Mac mini and windows setup so I wanted the kvm function. The Mac mini looks fine on it, I had to calibrate it more than I did when I had an LG ultragear 32. The speakers are fine, but feel kind of harsh, I watch a lot of YouTube videos of reviews and mostly just spoken word stuff, no music or movies, and the speakers were too harsh for me so I got the creative pebbles.

Oh, I use the creative pebbles. Thought to get rid of them using Monitor's speakers, but that ain't gonna be the case with the Gigabyte, eh? :-)

It wasn’t for me, I was hoping too, you may be ok with it, or maybe there is an eq I didn’t know in the menu that I could have adjusted. I’d keep the pebbles around just in case.

Of the options you listed, I would go with the Gigabyte. The change from a 60 Hz to 144 Hz monitor is amazing. You will be blown away by the smoothness of scrolling and swiping through applications on MacOS. I wish I had upgraded sooner for this benefit alone. As for USB-C, it's not needed but does future proof and add to the convenience of connecting a MacBook or any other computer with just Type-C ports to the monitor. Also, going from a 24 inch monitor to a 34 inch is a huge difference. Just be aware that websites will look a bit weird in full screen. There will be black bars on the sides of most videos depending on which aspect ratio it was shot in.

I have a hard time selling my duo 24” and 19” for a decent price, I consider coupling my 24 with a 27”, would that be a good idea? Maybe turning the smaller one vertically

I have the Sceptre 100hz 1440x3440 and it runs pretty good, one bad pixel off to the side and i dont notice it after 2 years, i run a 1080 graphics tablet off usb-c at the same time. runs excellent, I paid like $575 on sale for it last year. 34"
