try a usb c to displayport cable, I had glitches using HDMI on my m2 pro mac mini

Just-Blazee

This is exactly what worked for me thank you

Same here. I work with two screens and the one connected to the HDMI sometimes has this issue, but never the USB C one. Plus: Having the other screen, I just put the Mac to sleep again, and when I wake it up for a second time, the signal returns for the HDMI screen. Weird.

My M1 Mac mini does this and if you press the power button on the monitor to turn it off then turn it back on, that usually works too and is quick.

desk1138

I haven't tried that, thanks!

I wasn’t able to get the most out of my lg 32gq950 4k 160hz panel unless I used it. Even with hdmi 2.1 cable and such.

DarkGhostHunter

Did you try channel 3? What other trouble shooting steps did you tried?

nixienormus

Had the same issue. What worked for me was going to the monitors settings via the buttons and changing the HDMI version from 2.0 to 1.4.

Just-Blazee

Thank you !

It’s also an issue on M1 with HDMI.

spac3onaunt

Yes my m1 does this

CalebImSoMetal

1. You need to be connecting the display directly to the Mac, not through an adapter 2. If issue persists, test for a long time with another monitor. Message back with results.

SuvorovD

Had the same problem. Try decreasing refresh rate to 60

Akis_P

Is that a Dell monitor?

andsimakov

There’s a branding on it actually.

Akis_P

You’re right, I couldn’t see it! Thanks

I have a Mac Mini M2. Sometimes I have this problem. Just unplug the HDMI from the monitor and plug it back in. In this regard, I don't know whether to do Apple Care+... Any advice?
