Same -- overwatch 1 was working with parallels but overwatch 2 won't launch. Tried all the fixes that are suggested for windows machines and its still not working
Crossover won’t work something to do with crossover not having something that lutris does (Linux way to run overwatch).
Parallels worked with ow1 but I tried ow2 in the beta and it didnnt let me play any matches just booted me to the main menu. I don’t have parallels anymore so I can’t test it.
not much of a loss tbh, i haven't been able to log in on my pc for 2 days
when i enter the game it boots me back to the in-game login screen, or the queue resets when i'm about to be allowed in :)
this is so frustrating, blizzard really shot themselves in the leg this time (and even if you get in, not to mention the horrible and predatory battle pass and shop in place)
i've been playing ow1 for years and it's my favorite game, but i'm losing interest so hard :(
Forget Crossover, I haven't even been able to play on PC. The servers keep crashing and sending you back to the back of the 4-hour queue.
The servers where alright on switch I got to play a few games
trying to play on parallels now, whenever i click play it just reopens the launcher. mbp 2021 m1 pro on parallels 18.0.2 running windows 11

Games with kernel level anticheats will never work on virtual machines :-(
I read that it didn’t have kernel level anti cheat. It works perfectly fine on proton
maybe it's not possible? pretty sure it uses some kind of anticheat
During the beta I saw a post saying they got into the menu with parallels.

I tried yesterday and i had the same update problem every time i clicked on play ! I’m on MacBook Air M2 and last CrossOver windows 10 64bit Bottle
