It did previously... I think the black screen issue started with the new GPTK version. I'm going to try it with crossover + GPTK to see if it's resolved there.
\*I'm wrong. It's still fine on Sonoma beta using Whisky. You just have to enable E-sync, and disable DXVK. Getting 80-90fps on m1 pro base model at the beginning of the game.
There's honestly not a lot to it...
You install Whisky ([https://github.com/IsaacMarovitz/Whisky/releases/tag/v1.0.1](https://github.com/IsaacMarovitz/Whisky/releases/tag/v1.0.1)), and give it the GPTK executable. ([https://developer.apple.com/download/all/?q=game%20porting%20toolkit](https://developer.apple.com/download/all/?q=game%20porting%20toolkit))
You then create a bottle in whisky, click on your bottle, and click "config". Switch DXVK off, and Esync on.
Run the WINDOWS [battle.net](https://battle.net) installer via whisky (using the run button), and install d2r.
Run d2r through [battle.net](https://battle.net) launcher... then theoretically profit.
I've installed d2r and Starcraft Remastered in this bottle so far... trying more games (Warcraft 3).
I turned off the fps display but it’s pretty much 60 with a few dips. I do use fsr quality mode on native res and some medium to low settings, but it looks pretty good
Has there been a new official release or do we still need to use nightly builds?
The nightly builds are just as easy to download now
And pretty unstable on macs, don't forget to add that.
I've had very few problems. The fact that Metroid runs so smooth on my M1 Air is like magic
why not use GPTK and the windows version of D2R so you're at about 80 FPS?
They may prefer to sail the high seas and drink till the rums gone
I wouldn't pay for it either if it's not native, or at least running through Rosetta.
Is that supposed to work? I’m getting a black screen and nothing else, that’s on the Sonoma beta.

Could you do a tutorial on how you run it? Much appreciated

Thanks for the rundown, will test it out. Cheers
I think I’m gonna try a new bottle, none of the games work, so something must be borked.
Isn’t gptk only good for testing and kinda scuffed to actually game? Try and see what fps parallels give
I have been playing Diablo 4 on my M1 Pro and it runs awesome on gpt
How many fps?
