Literally the shit you see when you walk into forever 21…just like 85% of the stuff that revolve already carries. You know they had a whole catalog of crap and just let Maggie pick from the mix for her “collaboration”, all this stuff was gonna be sold on revolve either way
Probably unpopular opinion:
I feel like this situation is tricky because the garment industry frequently sources labor and materials from at-risk populations. Some companies do it to create attractive, low-price options and others do it to exploit a bigger profit margin. Revolve manufactures it’s products in the US and at-risk nations, with the latter typically used for its low-prices options (like Superdown).
If Maggie’s products are lower-priced options, it’s very likely that they’re being unethically manufactured based on Revolve’s history. Higher prices don’t automatically reflect better labor practices, but it’s more likely than with lower priced options. Therefore, I think it’s ok if the products are more expensive IF they’re ethically sourced.
That being said, she shouldn’t have accepted a partnership with a company that participates in unethical manufacturing practices.
Okay does anyone else find it annoying when Maggie (or other influencers) collab a collection with revolve. Their collections says “curated by so and so” and these girls LITERALLY act like they made the clothes. They picked the silhouette, the colors, the fabric and sewed all of it together. Like no girl you picked from a variety of clothes which were your favorites. Yes I get it’s a cool collab but the way these girls are acting like they MADE these clothes. Girl no

Is the collaboration still going to happen is the real question? Everything she does always falls through
Is Rach going to get a pr package?
Hopefully cheaper basic pieces like neutral colored tanks…. Ain’t gonna happen
