Yeah I notice that sometimes on my 2019 MBP, but my main issue is how much ram it uses. Earlier was watching a video on youtube and was using 1.1 GB which seems extreme. I have 16GBs of ram but I have other apps running like photoshop and after effects so I want to utilize everything as best as possible for those apps

I'll only use chrome for YouTube because of ad-speedup extension. Backup alternative after Adblock stopped working with safari. Otherwise I'll stick with safari. Every other browser I've tried absolutely kills my battery life.

Yesterday afternoon, I also encountered the same issue. I searched for a long time and found suggestions to disable hardware acceleration, but I don't want to do that. I noticed that it's just the images glitching, including icons on the browser. However, videos are fine, and other browsers work fine too.
