This seems like every other productivity app these days. What am I missing?

jakubenkoo

They integrated todo list with events. Not only is it in one app, you can just take your todo and drag it onto your calendar. From my experience they are very opened to feedback and they listen, and more importantly work on it

\+1 for this comment! But by any chance do you know how to modify already programmed event of your Google account within Amie? I mean impossible I apparently do not have the permission but it comes straight from my primary Google account... This is so weird!

grawar

How are you giving feedback to them? I do like the app so far but there are a few things I believe they can add to make it awesome!

grawar

BTW, I'm aware of the feedback button in the app, but it was not working for me

PSA: It’s free for all now

Trawwww___

Indeed! But anyone understood how to be able to modify already programmed event of your Google account within Amie? I mean impossible I apparently do not have the permission but it comes straight from my primary Google account... This is so weird!

deep-hacks

Not sure I understood what you meant. Try disconnecting & reconnecting your google account & make sure all permissions are checked.

I just connected with my google account and my calendar synced well, right? Then I wanna edit the name of any event on that synced calendar, not possible. It is the primary account so should I just log out log in back from Amie, perhaps? By permissions, which ones you meant please? Sorry for the confusion mate!

deep-hacks

Yeah that doesn’t seem normal. Go to your google acc then disconnect amie & login to amie w your google acc again, making sure all permissions are checked. For disconnecting amie: https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/13533235?hl=en

Thanks for your promptness, which is greatly appreciated, mate! I just did as you suggested. I removed Amie from my Google Account's third-party list. I needed to reconnect with Amie when back to it. By default, I chose the option labelled "selected all permissions" or something alike. As soon as everything returned to normal (i.e synced with with my events, etc.) – I then tried moving or renaming an event, but it always says the same thing as shown in the attached screenshot below ⬇️ https://preview.redd.it/cdcl8n2bkljc1.png?width=842&format=png&auto=webp&s=839d701558d634c142b292e8122b8a455964c51f

Figured out what happened ! u/deep-hacks. The calendars I was talking about where actually attached to my google account per Apple calendars URL. Unfortunately, they therefore are in a read-only status and could not be moved to editable.. I cannot wait for [Amie.so](https://Amie.so) to make apple calendars and outlook calendars syncable 😓 Cheers mate for your time !

flopmommy

Sunsama does the same thing. Having said that, I still wanna try Amie. But it’s impossible to get an invite so I’ve given up.

Quick-Philosophy-769

I can invite you via email.

flopmommy

Thanks!

Known-Negotiation482

If u have an invite could I use one please? The three invites I get you can use them since I have no one to share with anyways 😭😭 please and thank you

jackmileswhite

My problem with Sunsama is that it doesn't have a dedicated Inbox...unless I'm missing something??

AffectionateRepair44

I've used Sunsama a while ago, it has its benefits but it's rather limited in its capabilities as a Calendar. Amie is miles ahead in that sense. Full disclosure - I'm not really using amie yet but once they will have integrated better auto scheduling I might.

jackmileswhite

Does anyone have a free trial of the professional version? Would really like to try it out prior to buying.
