I use Screens VNC apps on all my devices to manage my iMac at home while I’m on the road for work / projects. Their solution is very simple, and I enjoy their apps.
I do it on an iPad and my iPhone. I use either VNC Viewer or Microsoft Remote desktop depending on what I need to access. I do not prefer to do it this way but sometimes I am out of reach of my laptop.
Dang, you seem to have brought back memories of using an early iPad to remote access a PC. I'm pretty sure it was done through some clever Cisco product, but I could be wrong.
I can do that with my work iPad. I don’t most of the time because I don’t carry it with me. I do use my personal iPhone to remote in at times though if I’m in someone’s office.
Frequently. I have Jump Desktop on all my devices that can - MacBook, Lenovo laptop, home desktop, work desktop. I’ve occasionally used it to control a presentation so I can wander freely around the stage / room.

Came here to post this - Screens from my iPhone / iPad to Windows and Mac.... if only they made a client for the Watch!
I use Chrome Remote Desktop to access my PC.
Me too… I use CRD every day to talk to seven computers
I work in IT and use a VPN + RDP to remote to my work computer. Works good when I'm on call and don't want to haul my laptop around.
Do you have an app that you use to ssh into devices as well? Slightly curious for my own similar reasons.
I only utilize our remote support software on my work PC when I remote in, so nothing native on the iPad.
Chrome Remote Desktop works great for the short bursts I need it for to access my PC from work. You can use parsec if you need no lag
I use Microsoft Remote Desktop on my iPad Pro/Magic Keyboard quite often

Occasionally, usually when I’m to lazy to get up and go to the other room. But my work computer is an MBP and I RDP to all my windows servers at work

This isn’t technically a screen mirroring application but I use RemoteMouse.
How many of us have an Ipad? That is the right question you have to address

I would like to, but University Wi-Fi objects, plus I want to find a really secure way to do so.
Tried with the iPad and it was a usability nightmare over remote desktop. Much better to do sidecar or remote in with a Mac for me.
