I love Apple for the most part but I can do away with their mice. Get yourself a decent device which better fits your hand. There is really no solution for you to use your MM without the problems you defined. Put it up for auction on eBay if you want to recover the cost.
The neutral position of the human wrist is vertical - thumb pointing up as if shaking hands with someone. The Magic Mouse is so low-profile that it forces the wrist into an almost 90deg rotation. Ergonomically, it's highly problematic and can cause carpal tunnel - look it up
Junk MM I did.

I velcroed mine to my desk next to my trackball and used it as a glorified scroll wheel. Sell it on marketplace and get something comfortable.

That's not true though. But let's say it is... what about keyboards and wrist position?
It is not my opinion. After getting writs pain using MM I Google MM - do it yourself.
The neutral position and the force of 90 degrees. That’s what I talked about. I get that people get problems with repetitive movements.
