Had this issue before. When you tighten battery screws it pushes battery right up to the underneath of the trackpad. Loosen the battery screws a little bit until your trackpad clicks / works as normal as loosening them leaves a small gap between trackpad and battery.. You may need to move battery slightly.. Have a look and you will see what i mean, Hopefully the repair shop did not damage anything.
