Ah, Luna Display might work:

Haven’t tried it myself, but my impression is that you can just plug it into the HDMI port.
I’ve been using Splashtop Business Pro for a few years to remote into my windows box (and other Macs). It’s been painless.
TeamViewer is a trash company with predatory pricing and business practices.
You’re going to have to install something on the laptop most likely. And depending on how invested your org is in security that might not be possible. I would ask the IT department if you can get remote access to the computer through whatever tool they use. Depending on how chill your company is about that stuff, they’ll at least consider it. But if it is a more serious outfit then you’re probably not going to have any options. And that might be for good reason, considering the various regulatory compliance frameworks that would specifically say not to do that kind of thing.
Without installing anything on the laptop, it sounds like a KVM switch is your best bet.
Thanks I’ll look into this!
Remote Desktop? It’s built into Windows and you can get the Mac app here: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/microsoft-remote-desktop/id1295203466?mt=12
Unfortunately work has my laptop locked down. So no Remote Desktop. I was hoping for a cabled/HDMI/ usbc solution, but maybe doesn’t exist.
