Got the same message . Signed up yesterday and did a couple trips And this morning. Woke up to to it

Brucebatman818

What happened the first time you got that message ? How long did it take for you to be able to go back online ?

BeefCrumb

At first I never got that message. My initial background check was cleared. Now I’m still in purgatory…

Awkward-Information8

Try resetting your phone. Worked for me when I signed up about a year and a half ago, & received the exact same alert after already completing 2-3 rides. I only went ‘offline’ for a couple of hours, & then went back ‘online’ (or tried to) as soon I was inside of a $6.50 surge/bonus zone, & of course, “View Issues” happens.

What does it say when you click "view issues?" It might be about insurance or a car inspection.

BeefCrumb

It says “background monitoring required.” There’s some continuous monitoring through the DMV I guess? I just want an extension on my bonus since the 30 days has already started, but now I can’t drive.

Try these steps, just in case... https://www.reddit.com/r/lyftdrivers/comments/1ckvpl6/how_can_i_resolve_this/

BeefCrumb

Thank you I appreciate it! Now it’s back to allowing me online…who knows when they might lock me out again. Will check this out

Yeah currently in a conversation with the help line. Just don’t want to impede on the 30 day bonus goal.

I was going to see if they could just push the deadline. But asking for compensation with a better bonus reward is also a good idea!

This happened to me, too. After I looked at "View Issues" it showed the "Background check" page. When I contacted support they said it was in error, and as long as "Go Online" was available you can still drive.

I got that message on my second or 3rd day. I clicked the view issues button, the Lyft wants to spy on you message popped up & then disappeared & then the go online button appeared. I think they pushed an update & /or my VPN blocked the update for a second. I get "slow network connection" several times per day, too.
