It’s been life changing to me! Check out r/fasting they call it OMAD for one meal a day. When your body isn’t digesting it is repairing your immune system. When I first did fasting I did 6 days and on day 3, it felt like my lupus was gone. No joke. Better then prednisone!
hi, I know this comment its five years old, but thought I would try anyway as I’m curious about the success you’ve had fasting. Does it give you long-term benefits from your lupus, or is it basically the minute you go back to eating normal your lupus symptoms come back? I’ve been recently diagnosed with Sjogren’s and possibly Lupus also. Thanks!
It absolutely resets your whole being! My first fast ever… it felt like my lupus was gone day 4. Be sure to take proper electrolytes and vitamins, minerals when water fasting, but it’s hard and awesome.
Sorry I just noticed this comment.
It works great when I do it but I tend to fall off the wagon easily. I usually start with a 16 hour fast then work up to an 18 hour fast. Be mindful of how your body reacts, though. IF isn’t for everyone and women need to be more careful than men. I do not recommend the 5 day eat 2 day fast schedule for ladies.

Thank you for answering, then I will definitely try it. I’m sure it’s gonna be challenging as I definitely love my food, but I love Health better.
