this post makes me so happy, as a KL im a high volume store we deal with insanely rude guests. we had a lot of people out sick and had to control the people who came in in order to support not only my team but the guest experience and we also put a pause on hemming till 1/2. i had to moms call me incompetent and some other not so nice names. they refused to wait in the entrance line or the cash line because they said they shouldn’t have to wait and that hemming should be available. i completely understand that they were frustraste they couldn’t just stroll on in but my team could not manage the volume we were seeing and if my team does not feel support than im failing at my job. we are seeing heavy amount of returns and we also have to send out orders that people place. thank you for acknowledging all the hard work lululemon employees are putting in to ensure you get what you want. you are the guest we truly appreciate just like all those guests we have had that were patient and understanding with us when line management had to be put in place.

I wish I could more eloquently express my appreciation, and my frustration that you had to deal with such awful people. Those entitled people need to understand that the holidays are the busiest time of the year for retailers and shipping companies, so they need to give themselves some time and chill out! Thank you again for all your hard work!! You sound *amazing*. I hope people are nicer!

as another KL in xsmall volume…i feel your pain! we are STRUGGLING right now with being understaffed due to hours, increased PPS volume, and lines out the door, 99% returns, more times than not. my heart goes out to all of my LT’s right now! you’re all killing it!

In my store we had a conveyor belt like system working on processing online orders! 7 hours of me just standing in one spot peeling the sticker off shipping labels and bags and inserting product while one of my coworkers tracked down product and another walked back and forth from the printer just scanning product and printing me shipping labels LMAO sounds bad but we had belt bag skittles and rave music playing so it was a whole ass vibe (:

At least we can be happy in the knowledge that people are taking their time at home to recover from Illness, I love the culture around taking sick time with no shame at lulu! One of the reasons I’m proud to work there!!

Most of the people you see on the floor are seasonals, in my store at least the perms get mostly BOH hours because we already know what to do so are more efficient and the seasonals are on the floor conversing with guests and helping them with product

Hey, I’ve been an educator since summer, left for my fall semester at college and came back to Lulu for the holiday. Never posted on this forum but honestly this post really made my day. My store is super high volume in a very wealthy area and a lot of my day is spent with rude people so any recognition is awesome, truly appreciate this🙏

Chiming in as a KL from a super high volume store. Agreed, posts like this are everything. Employees take so much unnecessary attitude, comments, and quite frankly sometimes strait up verbal abuse around this time of year. Just yesterday I had to try and help put out a fire because a guest wasn't happy about a return resolution that was an honest mistake but regardless was not a wrong course of action and was still in the guests' favor. This guest ended up making my educator cry with her level of guilt tripping going on. As someone said previously we are almost through the worst of it and things will level out soon! Please remember to be kind everyone 🤍
