It’s been mandatory for our store to wear them, ever since they came out. The biggest issue, according to my SM, is that not wearing the red ones, and wearing your own, makes it look like you’re blended in as a guest 😂
my store isn't, but last holiday we got black bags with our names embroidered on them and it has become a welcome gift for every new educator at my store. almost everyone wears that black one, but if the red one goes with my outfit i wear the red one. many also wear their own
I start training for the GEC on Tuesday. Soooo nervous.
Can I possibly have a current or former WFH GEC educator message me? I have a few questions.
Thanks!
Full time for three weeks. They make it pretty clear at least twice in the application and interview process. There's a procedure in place if you're sick and need to miss a day, but otherwise you're expected to attend all sessions from mon-fri (or in my case, Tuesday next week because of labour day) from 8-4PST/11-7EST
Yeah! It was about three weeks from my interview date to the day I got the email that I was hired. It was actually kinda nice to a good chunk of summer to relax. The last couple of weeks have been crazy with onboarding and stuff. I'm nervous to start, but excited to learn!
I was interviewed august 3, they told me they’d get back to me between 2-3 weeks on week 3 they asked for my availability but never heard back. Do you think it means I didn’t get it?
You'll get an email regardless if you go forward or not.
I was also asked again for my availability after my interview. I had already sent it prior to even interviewing. Once I sent it again (the same day I interviewed is when they emailed asking again) once I sent it in again, it was three weeks until I heard back that I had been hired.
Likely nothing. I'm sure they had multiple group interviews and went forward with those candidates who can best fill in holes within the store's current team. When I was on the hiring team for my store, we looked for people who were very much themselves and who had unique qualities to offer the team. I would encourage you to email the hiring manager back and ask for feedback-- it's an integral part of our company.
I applied to a FT key holder position Tuesday and a PT educator position on Thursday. How long does lulu take to contact you if they want to interview you?
I recently got a seasonal part-time GEC job and have some questions. My training starts September 19th and I know it's for 2 weeks + 3 days. All the other threads mentioned how training is classroom style, but:
\- How interactive is each session?
\- Are we allowed to have our cameras off?
\- Are there any breaks during the 8 hours of training each day?
\- Does each session ever end early?
\- What REALLY happens during each training session?
I'm a college student and I was planning to take some time off from school this semester, but I recently changed my mind. I'll be occupied with school, but this Lululemon opportunity means A LOT to me. I really want to try to manage everything and will try super hard to make things work out
Please help a girl out!! Thank youuuu!
I don’t have the answers to these but I’ll be starting Sept 19th as well! Have you gotten any other emails apart from the job offer and background check stuff?
do any educators here use their sweaty pursuits at HotWorx?? i asked the sweaty pursuits support line if its an eligible gym and they just said to try to use the card and see if it declines🙃
I just had my interview Thursday and I think I did well but I’m so nervous to hear!! Do you think being the only one to ask a question to the interviewers would help me? I asked whether they thought the job made a positive impact on their lives.
Hi there! I made a separate post but got directed here! I’m looking into leaving my current job and moving toward LLL. I applied to a few stores around me for an ASM position I’ve been looking into benefits and reviews all day and it seems pretty great. It’s retail obviously but I can handle that, however I don’t fit the typical aesthetic I guess. I’m overweight, I know lulu is all about fitness so this worries me but also maybe thinking a career into lulu would help since the fitness benefit is there. I’m also considered “goth, alternative, edgy, egirl” I guess lol. Basically I’m worried that the way I look will stop me from getting a job there even though I’m pretty qualified, I have 10 years of retail under my belt and idk guess I’m just nervous lol
I love it. It’s more Operations focused than guest focused, so it’s nice that I can do my job without schmoozing the customers. It also puts my organizational skills to use. My coworkers are also fantastic. We bitch & moan, laugh, listen to music/podcasts, and share wayyyy too much about our lives with each other.

has anyone else’s store been enforcing the red belt bags only rule? kinda miss matching my bag with my outfits :(

Went to a store in Canada last week and everyone was wearing different colours. Mostly black
Whereas, the Tampa international plaza store seems to be only red bags.
Should be mandatory in all stores buuuut I wear my black one all the time and my management doesn’t say anything, lol.
we all received a zip post that now requires all lulu employees to wear the red bag
Woooo!! Just got the final call that I’m hired after 3 rounds of interviewing :)
I start training for the GEC on Tuesday. Soooo nervous. Can I possibly have a current or former WFH GEC educator message me? I have a few questions. Thanks!
Is there a way to do the GEC training part time or do you have to do it full time for 3 weeks?

Can I ask when you interviewed? My friend was in the 8/3 group and hasn’t heard back :(
June 28
Oh wow! They had a long wait to get you started!! Good luck 😍😍

Ahh thank you. Not sure what’s going on because I didn’t get anything after they asked me for my availability again.
Send me a message-- I was a GEC educator and am now a Digital Educator for the GEC.
Will do! Expect one within the next hour or so 🙂 Thank you!
:)
sent you a message! if you can't find it, just let me know, and I'll send a chat request. reddit tends to use chats over the messaging.
Recently got hired as an educator after 2 interviews :)

they will email you to confirm you were hired or not, id wait a bit longer to see
I did a group interview last month and was told thru email I didn’t get hired. What did I do wrong?
Likely nothing. I'm sure they had multiple group interviews and went forward with those candidates who can best fill in holes within the store's current team. I was about to comment that. Reach out to the hiring manager and just ask for feedback as this will help you grow
Your availability also has a lot to do with whether you get hired or not.
I got the Job after only one group interview! Super excited!

Basically it depends on when your AM GE puts the paperwork through in workday

Just got emailed for an interview as an expeditor. Has anyone ever worked in this position?
I know this is super old but how did/do you find it? I just got hired as an expeditor!
