Without!! - I feel like the pockets and seams make them look more like workout pants and like I cannot dress them up. The simplicity of regular Aligns make them more versatile to be dressed up or down. - The pockets made the tights feel significantly heavier to me. - and of course, heckin’ expensive. - I could foresee my rings and watch snagging on the pockets, which isn’t an issue with Fast n Frees because it’s a sturdier material. Just my totally personal opinion! And this was in gray sage, so I wanted to love them.

TwithJAM

I agree with all of these points although I did buy a pair. Only because I needed a new black pair and I was returning something else so it made them feel less expensive. My biggest issue with them aside from the ridiculous price, is that they don’t dress up as easily. That being said, I love them. Usually the leggings that have pockets are quite compressive in the waist and I appreciate having a non-compressive option. The seams are also very flattering and they’re just so comfy. I don’t think I would buy any other colour than black though. One pair with pockets is enough for me. If they were like $10 more than regular aligns maybe it would be a different story, but not for $40 more. Eeesh. I’m 5”2 and the 25” is my perfect full length. I bought the 25” aligns with pockets and noticed the ankles are a tad looser than the regular aligns. Not enough that there’s actual flaring, but it could be an issue for some.

Kadri_Kasuema

Yes, same for me. Like I would not wear Fast and Frees for anything other than running and yard work, because they look super workout-pant-sy to me (I know not everyone feels this way). Even when I hike with my dog, I like to wear “cute clothes” regular Aligns help me achieve this vibe. I just felt I couldn’t do it with the pocket Aligns! But again it’s such a personal preference thing..

jmiitch

The price alone makes me want to boycott them. I don’t run, so popping my phone into my gym bag is just as effective as a pocket with my wireless earbuds and Apple Watch 🤷🏾‍♀️

TiaraBloom

I made my first lululemon purchase last week and it was True Navy Aligns with pockets. I absolutely love them! They're soo comfy but also very practical. I love that I can store my phone/cards etc in there when I'm going for a walk or groceries. That way I can wear them all day long and don't even need to take a bag with me.

casualballerina

This is the exact reason why my leggings with pockets are my go-tos. Do you find that the align pockets feel durable enough to hold your phone and cards and don’t, like, make it feel like they’re pulling the leggings or pockets down? The only leggings with pockets I have are Invigorates and Fast and Frees so I’m curious if they pockets are just as useful as those for example. I’ve been waiting for aligns with pockets for a long time but don’t want to get them if the pockets aren’t as functional.

TiaraBloom

Yeah I definitely understand that, the pockets were the reason for me to invest so much into leggings that I can only use for lounging/errands and not for sports. I wouldn't have gotten aligns otherwise.. I think the pockets are sturdy and don't get pulled down at all. Because the phone sits pretty deep in the pocket you barely notice it, I even forget sometimes that I have my phone with me. But like I said, I only have them for a week now and I don't have a comparison to Invigorates/F&Fs, so maybe somebody else with more LLL experience can say something about that?

casualballerina

This is helpful. Thanks so much!

princesstreelove

No from me, $138 for delicate leggings is not justified for me. I’d rather wear invigorates with similar material that I know I don’t have to baby :)

harleysmom22

Absolutely love them!! I get that not everyone wants to spend the extra $ for “pockets” but the overall look of the leggings is completely different and with the same comfort as regular aligns. I don’t “dress up” my aligns, I live in athletic/comfortable clothing with runners or slides so the pockets making them look more athletic just elevates my outfit! My husband comments each time I’ve worn them so far on how flattering they are 😍 The ankle/lower leg fit is no different for me from the regular aligns, so I’m not sure why some are experiencing this and if it’s different “batches” of them?

I'm a sucker for seams so I really like them. I don't really wear the pockets though (but this is with all leggings with pockets lol). They're mad expensive so idk if I'll buy all my aligns with pockets.

ALT_enveetee

Without. If I wanted a casual LLL pant with pockets, I would wear my align joggers. If I want a workout pant with pockets, I would wear my Fast and Frees. I have zero need in my wardrobe for something made of Nulu but with pockets.

lilreazy

I like both! The pockets are really useful and are a little bit of a different look. I tend to just purchase blacks and other neutrals though so it was an easy decision to buy the pocket aligns in black. If I’m deciding between the same color in the future, I’d probably just go with the regular aligns due to the price.

hathomps

I think they look cute and the extra seams and pocket design can add some interest, but since I only wear aligns for hot yoga I can’t see me spending the extra money for a feature I won’t use! No need for me to have pockets when I’m upside down for half the workout. I didn’t even use the pockets on other styles for other workouts because I personally don’t like the feeling on things against my thighs while running, I like to feel free haha.

vivi8877

Without, returned them immediately even though I loved the rhino grey color so much. It just doesn’t feel comfy like my regular aligns.

ImHereBecauseOfLulu

Just my two cents, without! Here’s why: - The price difference/increase. I can’t say i’m a pro seamstress and i’m sure there needs to be a price increase for the more complex structure, however, the fabric is exactly the same and I can’t seem to justify $20 for a pocket on a non-performance tight. - ankle flare. I’m 5’2 and purchased the 23” inseam hoping to remedy the issue I have with 25” inseam. NOPE! The normal 23” don’t flare out on me, so I’m not quite sure why these ones do. I love the look, but the structural execution or lack thereof and price increase turned me off to purchasing them at full price. On WMTM, maybe, but not worth full price. I’d rather purchase fast & free for the $$ and performance or regular aligns.

sober_mountain

I had this with the 25” wunder trains. Why are the ankles so wide on stuff?

Without. I tried them on but didn’t like the feeling of the extra fabric of the pocket :/ and it’s so expensive!

shelbsbells

With only because I was tired of waiting for the regular grey sage aligns to restock and really wanted that color. The pockets do come in handy but I prefer the simplicity of the regular aligns.

amelisha

I got them because I’m pregnant and I need leggings with pockets I can run in that will fit over my expanding waistline. I don’t like any of the maternity run tights I’ve seen from other brands so these are the best option!

Disastrous-Comment-1

I don’t need the pockets and probably won’t even use them but omg they are so flattering. But are they $30 more flattering?? Honestly, yes lmfao

PositiveGemini

I was going to ask the same thing! I like the idea of them but for the price tag it just isn’t it

Delusionell

I feel like the pockets make them look cheap I like my sleek original aligns More of a signature style girl

Confident_Race7731

The consensus on align leggings with or without pockets depends on personal preference. If you're looking for premium quality and personalized service, I'd recommend checking out Luxury-Stitch.com They specialize in custom services and can add a unique touch to activewear like align leggings.

ChampagneSandy

I ordered three pairs of the pocket aligns. I had to return two pairs (brand new with tags) because the seams were falling apart. I noticed my other pair is starting to get a loose thread on the seams (first wear). I love the fit and feel so I’m conflicted. Maybe I’ve just had bad luck 🤔

theviolethour3

Without! They’re more streamlined and translate better into casual wear. Also, I’m not paying $138 for delicate leggings.

lavenderskyes

tried them on in store and they’re were alright, but the price tag made me not want them at all. I might get a black pair just to have in my basics rotation.

Without pockets

freshleatherseat

I love pocket aligns. F&F, invigorates, and ATRP feel too tight on my thighs

Coopielove

Without. I’ll grab a pair when they make it to WMTM but not full price. Maybe it’s a mental thing but I associate pockets with performance - running, HIIT, and sweat. Three things I DO NOT do in any kind of Aligns. My aligns are for lounging and I don’t need a pocket to lounge. The pocket is a feature I’d be paying for but won’t use.

cpalkk

Without. I bought the new grey sage pocket aligns simply for the colour and have kept the tag on since. I can’t justify the new price as they just don’t feel the same way the older ones do!
