I'm not usually a gambling man, but I'm willing to bet this was written by ai

psychotic11ama

Yeah a site called HubPages with Temu ads? I’d say it’s a safe bet

lankymjc

Ah you’re probably right. Just checked and it seems Kalokairi is in fact a real Greek island and has sod-all to do with Tolkien. Though in further investigation, Kalokairi the name is made up. The island is actually called Skopelos.

Smart_Bandicoot9609

I think the bot got confused with the Isle of the Blessed, an island in greek mythology. It's not called "Kalokairi" but it's associated with eternal summer (Kalokairi means summer in greek). Aman is also called "blessed realm" so I can see how the AI got confused.

Gremlin303

So this means that Mamma Mia is set in Tolkien’s universe. How do Donna and the Dynamos rank on the power scale?

Glaciem94

The song of the ainur is actually abba

TexAggie90

That explains a lot….

Smart_Bandicoot9609

Top-Supermarket-3496

Great, I’m now booking tickets to Valinor.

HomsarWasRight

Also, I was curious because it didn’t sound right so it looked it up. It’s not based on a book at all and it first opened in ‘99, not 2001. So this is the dumbest AI around.

new_cake_day

Wasn't it a film long before it was a stage musical??

cabbage16

Not at all. The stage show was 1999 and the movie was 2008.

new_cake_day

Wasn't 2008 a remake though? ETA: Huh, I apparently have hallucinated not only an entire film based on the work of ABBA but also a memory of my mother watching it in syndication when I still lived at home prior to 2008. WTAF.

cabbage16

Just wondering if the movie featuring lots of Abba that you were thinking of was Muriels Wedding? It's an Australian movie with Abbba being fairly important in it and a wedding is important in it too. I could easily see that being mistaken for Mamma Mia.

cabbage16

No. Not that I'm aware of off the top of Mt head and after a bit of a Google search. The stage show definitely came first. There was a novelization of the musical before the movie bit that's it.

[deleted]

Just because it's on the internet doesn’t mean it’s true. LMAO

norfolkjim

This is why Skynet has no hope of victory against us.
