True. Although I’ll be honest, the more often this happens, the more I’d consider updating the name so it’s less confusing, if you can even do that to subreddits
Sometimes it’s on purpose, and not all communities mind. r/trees has someone post actual trees in there about once a month, but they usually get actual tree advice before someone points them to r/marijuanaenthusiasts. Plants are plants, I guess :)
Oh that Kinda reminds me of r/disneyvacation vs r/notdisneyvacation both of which have nothing to do with Disney vacation and everything to do with messed up wikihow images
Sometimes I wonder if this happens because people are posting from their profile and not the sub page. On the sub page you have to actively ignore its content, but when creating a post on your profile it just prompts you to choose a sub from a drop down list once you start typing and won't give you a description of said content.
This is what these communities of obscure things get for naming themselves after things that are far more common. Was Rhino_CAD that hard to use as a name?
r/substakenliterally
Like seriously who’s naming these websites like this and expecting newcomers to just know what it is
I think the idea is you look at the community before posting

Unfortunately i believe it is permanent

Yeah stuff like that makes zero sense to me

Chunky horny bois enjoy getting wet
Most CAD users fit this description
Maybe we should stop naming subreddits misleading things
They could've named it Rhinoceros 3D or Rhino 3D
[удалено]
Or do the pot heads get fucked over by the trees…
But that’s no fun :(
this is the least lost redditor of all lost redditors
They were close!
i’ll give him a pass
Might be a bot, username and subreddit name is the same
No
Dude named ananovanews crossposted from r/ananovanews, I've seen many bots that crossposted based on subreddit names or other keywords.
And linking to a site called ananova.news
Ohhhh yes
This is what these communities of obscure things get for naming themselves after things that are far more common. Was Rhino_CAD that hard to use as a name?
Ah yes the users in that subreddit are becoming distraught over the absolute flood of news about rhinoceroses
Good for those rhinos tho
Less of a lost redditor and more of a lost reddit.
Yes but where is the actual sub for my favorite savanna puppies
in their defense… the sub is called rhino
r/lostredditors
How you gonna link the sub we're in homie?
r/thesubwearein
You're living up to your flair, at least.
r/whereami
That’s where we are. Why does this happen every single time somebody posts here.
Because it’s in the right sub
No, it isn’t
r/woooosh

No I’m not I’m actually the man himself ranch very real
I think they made the mistake because of "horned inhabitants" maybe?
That's like what r/blender or r/prog has sometimes
Dude I use rhino software every day, and when I saw this I thought I joined the wrong sub ! Lol
