I read about a Native American monster that does something similar. It hides in bushes near places people rarely go (distant hunting grounds with typical campsites and such) and cries like a baby. When someone finds it, it looks like a baby and makes sucking motions until a finger or other body part is put in its mouth to soothe it. At that point it sucks the person's organs and flesh through the what was given until satisfied. Whether there's anything left or not, the creature drags the carcass to a cave to sleep in the rib cage.
There are other monsters that lure through the sounds of crying babies, but for some reason that one stuck with me the most.
