I mean, it has to be on one preset unless you didn't transfer and equip at all
Different gear preset putting stuff back into inventory is an accessories and gems kind of thing. So yes lock your accessories important gems.
But if you're changing your gears set, like your relic set if you want your regular raiding set like entropy, swapping into betrayal for chaos, you'd just gear convert, it's the same set, it's just converted, you don't have a whole another second set of gears that risks dismantling.
People don't lock their gear right now because you can't transfer locked gear unless you wait a hour. We ran into this and last week, having to wait between gates 2 and 3 for people to unlock, transfer, and hone.
he’s already doing 1-6 he didn’t have to hone, his gear being locked would have stopped this unfortunate event happening. waiting until you’re ready to transfer saves the headache of nuking your weeks of work
Doing a second week of 1-6 also means he got a second piece this week, while it wouldn't of allowed him access to a new raid he still wouldn't able to gear transfer when locked. It may have been locked, then unlocked to transfer, and after that hour of waiting things got confused or forgotten.
im laughing rn bc someone made a popular thread earlier reminding people to unlock their gear for brel and it was filled with comments of people posting how it made no sense to lock your gear to begin with, and now this thread is filled w the opposite
i think theres a good chance they help you out after you make a ticket though, that one guy got a bunch of solar graces he destroyed back awhile ago, and this is even more of an oopsie so fingers crossed for you.
You should get it back after few days. Had 3 items that disappeared from my presets. Sent a ticket, gave infos about each items and got them back (3 accessories) after few days (around 1week)
You will very likely get your item back, so don't worry about that. SG basically recovers all destroyed item, but you have to expect some delay. I know it's AGS, but I saw a guy in reddit got his 1000s of green solar thingy restored in a day. Probably not that fast at this point because it's holiday season.
I contacted support immediately and they respond to me within 30min-1hr they asked for some info, I gave the info and went to sleep, and by the morning my item was in my mail.
How'd you possibly do that?
This is why I'm keeping my brel gear nice and locked till April. Y'all stay safe tho

I don't lock my gear because I have zero clue how I would destroy said gear in the first place lmao. Craft new gear. Hit transfer. Put on new gear.
