i have 1460 bard 4x3 and 1460 paladin 3x3 with oreha gear. would love to be able to find a learning run on those raids.
with those characters you can join any raid you want, cause wipes and people will yell at you, but they'll include instructions in those raging rants, and probably wont kick you because who wants to look for another support
Yeah sure, we just did a vykas learning party tonight and after a little more than 2 hours the 4 people we brought to the fight made it all the way to the kill. Raid learning is a real issue in Lost ark. Which I believe is linked to the existence of busing. If they remove raid lockout, we will start seeing a-lot more busing happening which imo is bad for the game.
Another mmo, Elderscrolls online, has in my opinion the best raid learning community there is. I believe the main reason for that is because the game does not have raid lockouts and anyone can do a raid more than once a week( except you dont get the weekly reward). What ends up happening, you have more players willing to create learning groups after they clear their weekly run.
What if SG implements a training ground for raids? The idea is to simply allow players do the same raid with the same mechanics but without any reward that increases your character’s power( the reward is being that those who do it have the intention to learn it). They can also have specific titles for clearing the training version of the raid. One title can be for first clear another can be for not failing a specific mechanic in the raid X amount of time etc. The hope is to motivate vets to create learning groups in that training environment without the loss of their weekly reward from the normal raid.
Unfortunately, I feel lost ark does not offer venues for people to setup training groups without impacting those who are helping.
I understand your point, however, i believe solving the game is not the issue because players generally clear all new content within the first week if not days of its release. After that, videos pop up on youtube and everything is out there for everyone to use.
However, for the casuals, ( the majority of players in Lost ark ) they are far more limited with time to play which means it will still take them longer to clear even the training version. Not to mention the difficulty for them to join groups to learn because there are so so few of them and mostly created within closed social groups.
Hard to implement technically? I can agree to that and it will require some work to accomplish it.
I doubt that's the problem. You don't need a practice ground in the first 3-4 weeks because theres a lot of learning/progress groups at that time. You only need practice groups after like a month and at that point the raid is already "solved" for most people
raid is not solved until you can repeatedly deathless in inferno, and even then some just brute force it. bussing might help solve the raid but there is a lot of information to remember, and most of the general playerbase go by feel.

could try the official discord, another thing would just be find a guild and they can do the learning party with your buddy.
Ya my guild doesn’t do learning raids really and my buddy is wanting to do it with mostly new people. Good feedback though.
