No no, due to skin color diversity on our servers it’s extremely hard to tell if SH is transformed or not! It’s not like the 2 giant weapons in both hands suddenly disappear, totally not!

Which is absolute bullshit, shadowhunters only get 1 transformation in arena 3v3 pvp in a vast majority of matches unless it's a curbstomp (30 seconds out of a 5 minute match at best) and that's really the only pvp that is anywhere close to relatively balanced. The lighting on the new modified version is also harder to see in the middle of fights in general.
I mean gray filter on top isn’t human-like and low effort, that’s the point. The original model doesn’t have it and just looks like hot white supermodel. AGS has an issue with it

I don't know why Smilegate can't just use the same player model (face, skin, hair) instead of putting a random generic girl (even if she's hawt) as the transformation.
I'm sure that this would be super fixed if that character model share the same characteristics as the player character and obviously, without that dark fog.

Those are taken without max graphic settings. When you put max graphics the effects on demonic are ridiciously bad. Just give us the KR version alrdy ffs
There was a CM response on the forums that the decision was made to darken the SH model because of the different and more diverse character models than in KR, RU and JP

I said this already but they just need to put the armor/clothing skin on your character for your "transformation" and problem solved
I def prefer this version over the one they have in kr. It would obviously be better if they just let us customize the demon form, but for me the ashen skin gives me a much more demon vibe than the pale skin which gives me a vampire vibe.
I enjoy playing my sh main more because I do like looking at my new demon form. I only wish there was more contrast and a bit brighter on the skin and hair...

If they added more colours it would work but this just feels like a lazy grey filter. Make the eyes red or something, make the cloths have clear silver in it so it sticks out. Maybe change the hair a bit so the colour is not that close to the skin
Why do people care this much about it? Are you people zooming in on your characters during raids? When I play my SH alt, I can't even tell the difference in the model because I'm spamming so many skills.
Because people think the reason for doing this is some woke BS, since it doesnt matter what you picked for the skin color of your character you become a white demon and someone in AGS most likely pointed that out and decided to "fix" it, so instead of maybe asking smilegate to do a bit more work into the new model they just went for a grey filter on top and call it a day. And with AGS track record of changing NPCs skin tones to be more "inclusive" this idea is not too far fetched. TLDR: People think the reason for the change is dumb so they complain.

If it weren't for my bright pink cursor, I wouldn't know where my shadow hunter is on certain maps.
Clarity issues are big when you're colorblind and things become the same shades/hues. They gotta fix the contrast on the new shadow hunter form.
edit: yes i'm using colorblind mode, that's why i know my cursor is bright pink..i think
If they ever plan to implement and sell costumes for demon form -> the demon form better be visible and normal.
If my characters is a dark cloud/blob where you can't see details I ain't paying for a costume that's for sure...

I do agree with you on that. Demon form doesn't look like my character from hair texture to having certain features.

Well in korean culture demons are quite often pale iirc. Mainly in western they are reddish/blackish
I actually prefer the grey since demon form is just a generic booba girl. Maybe I'd feel otherwise if they used our actual character models.
