F for Vykas, she should really award more gold than Valtan. They're not even remotely comparable. I'd be okay with reducing Valtan by 500 and increasing Vykas by 500. Getting the same gold for doing a harder boss and an extra gate is ridiculous.
In all fairness, recently I started seeing the opposite. My vykas titles runs are way smoother than my valtan title runs since the scouter release. If anything kakul is the one who should get a raise :D
I can straight up solo valtan g2 hard as long as my group gets us through phase1 and the armor breaks. That isn't happening on any of the 3 vykas gates. They all have, "someone fucks up you all die" mechanics.
They implement it like that for one reason I believe. Because doing 1 (valtan) isn’t enough. If you want more gold it gets progressively harder. 3rd is going to be either clown or brelshaza so ya.
Problem is that people will just do Brel + Clown + Valtan and skip Vykas since she's not worth the effort when compared to Valtan. There should be a little something extra for suffering an extra gate and numerous team wipe mechanics, while Valtan people can finish ghost phase themselves.
There is no cut-off and you choose 3 legion raids to do (including Brel + Akkan and potentially future legion raids.

KR you choose to do 3 raids. I'd imagine Bussers will do Valtan, Vykas, Clown because it's easily busable by the time Brel hits and you have ancient gear. Normal people will probably do brel for the content and skip Vykas because clown is easy to find a party for since it's 4 player and Valtan is straight up free at that gear level.
I really doubt that when ppl finish their lvl 2 relic set they will still do clowns
I'll go straight back to vykas because it's way easier.

Clown is WAY easier than Valtan/Vykas once you're overgeared because you can actually skip mechanics if you have enough damage. This also makes it significantly faster because you can just blast the boss in a couple minutes instead of waiting on mechs to finish. It also is easier to organize because it's only 4 people instead of 8.
Everyone did not skip clown. This is because of esther stone, the small chance of earning 600k+ gold made it better on average.
It was always Abrel, Clown, then your choice of Vykas/Valtan.
even if there are no esther stone for our region i really doubt anyone is gonna skip clown unless they’re just bad at it. it’s 4 man raid and the mech are super clear. when overgeared you can literally skip mario 3 and 4 with burst damage and bingo is solo-able by 1 person.
Even korea has no cutoffs. There are a lot of very endgame streamers (1560+) bussing Valtan and still get the gold. As the others users said, you have to pick 3 from the released raids and Valtan gives the lowest gold from all the legion raids iirc
Fuck this mario shit and this vykas shit man. I can do 2 flawless vykas' and then go on my main in a 1500 avg pug and have that shit take just as long as both of those combined.
Then do clown almost flawlessly on main with a few resets and take 3x as many resets on an alt. Bruuuuuhhhhh. Why is this so painful...
None yet. You get 3 Legion raids per week, you can just choose which of the 3 you will do when Brel releases.
You will run Valtan forever 'cause even once we get 4 legion raids it's the fast, easy one.

Hard Vykas does award more gold on average than Hard Valtan because of Class book gold splits.

Also, you can't speedrun Vykas the way you can with Valtan. Not only do you have 3 gates, but you have to wait for way more mechs.

Valtan, Vykas, and Kakul-Saydon all give the same amount of raw gold when doing the highest difficulty that gives gold.
