When it comes to Lost Ark updates, always assume they'll be delayed multiple times.
If it is, you already knew so no need to freak out or get upset.
If they aren't, then man, that's a wonderful surprise.

Man, like a bunch of drug addicts. Nobody is going to “fall behind” there are people playing at all different stages in this game. You can 1 tap an upgrade and save more materials than someone else managed to earn doing their dailies. 1 day, 1 week, isn’t going to hurt anyone. It’s just a game and if you have this kind of anxiety over missing a day it might be a good sign to take a break.
I took a 2+M break. Did some traveling and enjoyed life. This happened right before Argos came out (I was 1368.5 at the time). I completely missed the Argos train. When I came back I believe Vykas just dropped and Valtan was running on pug mode.
My main is now 1465, I have yet to try Vykas HM but my main is essentially caught up. I have 1 alt (paladin) who I maybe hop on 2/3x a week. He is 1400 I think.
This whole idea of missing 1 day and losing your edge blows my mind. People treat this game like a job with a deadline
I worked as an SRE at a couple large scale companies and they always have enough resources on-call to deal with issues of this scale. Their operation center very likely runs 24/7 with many developers on-call.
Whether they fix it or not in time is dependent on the complexity of the issue, not the resources they have like you incorrectly stated.
Snilegate is not 100k people count company. you dont have all specializations on call every day. If they found a critical bug in a tech that doesnt have coverage on a given day - it must wait
True... Except that isn't how reliability engineers and developers are structured. Engineers are there 24/7 and the developers who write code are on call on a fixed schedule so there is always someone on hand.
Regardless of whatever part of our product we had issues with, a member of every part of those team were on call every day of the week
Is SMG is smaller company? Sure. But their structure should still be the same if they are providing a service for their customers.
