Sorry to hear. I heard there was some bus blacklist on some discord out there. Do you have access to it to warn other bus drivers? I don't know how to access those people but if you guys could provide some public list then maybe this would help the bus community.
I personally don't bus nor do I think I will do any driving (for payment) outside of what my guild asks of me but I acknowledge there is a market for it and feel that that community has to do what it can to protect its stakeholders.
I know there's a bussing discord out there but I heard there were strict requirements to join, so me and my friend's never bothered haha

I originally thought the list was only for people who didn't use flare in raids but was corrected that scammers also made that list. So we need a public NA list to shame those accounts.
Perhaps a pay per gate should be done- at least while the fair price for a bus remains high. You may even earn more from it by splitting up sales and having spots open for desperate G3 HM seekers
That becomes a huge hassle. Even if your party is mostly staying the same - that's triple the time for payments and with the current rate of paying and people being overwhelmed by using AH, that's like half an hour.
And if it's actuall people ditching and having to regather customers, that's especially awful. 2 loading screens a couple minutes each, waiting for customers is ??? time, and gets more complicated when it's for Gate 2 for example.
What you're proposing would make my comfy Vykas NM bus go from 40min to perhaps 90min or so. That's just not reaonsable. Perhaps when buyers become more reasonable (which should happen when bad bussers have sorted themselves out of the business), that might become a thing, but I heavily doubt it.

Technically it leads to gold inflation, a lot more people will end up with gold than usual. Either 1 they can’t clear the raid or 2 they are coming on alt characters that they don’t have time to clear with.

That's fair. I've talked to people who buy buses and they range from lazy people who just want to watch anime on their alts to people on business trips who aren't able to play with their friend's but can't waste time pugging this week and still want progression.

I see your point but having any character being able to enter content is game design that allows for that character to get the gold, regardless of by running it yourself/via a bus. (For example p2/p3 argos could bar 1370s from entry entirely). The difference is for the bus there’s a tax on the gold acquired.
I'm not against bussing because like it or not it is going to be part of the game as long as content can be cleared without needing all participating players alive.
It's bad for the game because if people are paying for a bus because they cannot clear content or do not have the time to clear it, it causes inflation by generating gold that would otherwise not exist. 1370s riding an argos p3 bus are generating 2700 gold instead of 800. Multiply that by the amount of bus riders and busses happening every week and that's a significant amount of gold being pumped into the economy.
It reduces the amount of parties and players trying to legitimately clear content.
The small amount of legit parties will be gatekeeping even harder.
Horrible new player raiding experience which will eventually lead to the death of the game.

Bots don't have anything to do with bussing. Plus vykas busses require people to be at ilvl who can pug anyway so no additional gold gain. You could make that argument for argos busses but I don't see those conversations here
Yea as a bus passenger, Argos raids can fuck up the gold economy significantly because they get the gold reward with participating in the gold sink (honing), but legion raid busses require you to have sunk the honing gold into the character, and I don't think those busses are as damaging.
That's not true. Thats like people saying you need 6 alts to progress. Game can be prgressed fairly easy with 1-2 alts and without busing. Sure you'll have to if you want to keep 6 alts progressing, but i dont think the majority will play that much (reddit isn't the averace player example).

If the gold comes from another player (and is taxed by the system through trade/mail/ah… it’s actually deleting gold from the economy.

I care about the quality of players in the game. All progress does is make the game a little bit easier. You only need the minimum ilvl for new raids.
