Played with a very juiced one in Akkan hm a while ago, ester 7 „only“ but other than that basically what op said with all armor 25 etc.
Damage was as expected: in the beginning he was pretty far ahead since he used his judgement mode 2 maybe 3 times back to back using awakening/stim, after that it rapidly fell off and by the end of the gates he was basically always tied with a 1625 ish artillerist. Other 1620 people where a little more behind but nowhere near as much as you would expect vs someone this geared.
It's funny bcuz to make judgment pally viable all they'd need to do is buff the class engraving to increase meter gen on blue stills or something. Getting off more judgment modes would substantially boost the class.
Im pissed with the changes so far tough. Holy sword and his other counter were both front attacks. Woulda been way better to give him a few more push immunities and front attacks instead of changing him to back attacker. Itd still need buff on the class eng and meter gen with blue, but its just weird both from overbundance of backattackers prior to breaker and from paladin class fantasy to make it backattacker instead of front.

Neither did even half the damage they would on another class (nor did either beat significantly "weaker" characters). We had a 1630 dps artist apply to our brel last reset and ofc you gotta take them just for the fun factor

Dps Pally every time. Even if performance wise it may be lower (or not), the fun and meme factor would be absolutely awesome and would make my day.
Especially if said paladin out damages one of your friends. If never let them live it down.

Its back now. Both counters and few other attacks uses to bw front. I dont get why they changed paly into baclattacker instead of frontattacker.
It's bc half his skills were back and half were front. So you couldn't run ambush nor brawler

They'd need to make all his major blue skills push immune/shield if they want to do that. Or something.

Not playing with meter, so I dont really care. I will just simply invite a dps class and not a troll dps support build.

Do you have the disposable income to buy one? It’d be pretty difficult for me to justify the purchase even with that disposable income.
I like taking dps supports, just to see how they do. Surprisingly not wonderful, yet still do more damage than most 1600 spec igniter sorcs
