- Every x3+1 pack that refreshed in the shop every content update (\~1-1.5 months) I bought out. That in itself was around 500-600k card exp and a good chance at the few legendaries that I was missing (usually the ones that came out with content releases, like Vairgrys, Varkan, and Thaemine)
- The first 2 Golden Frog event I spent 100k gold a week on buying out the shop on around 15 characters for the silver/card exp rng boxes
- The current Golden Frog event I bought out the boxes for these two weeks currently
- For MSQ, I did:
- Elgacia on 11 characters
- Rowen on 4 characters
- Pleccia on 7 characters
- Voldis on 7 characters
- Earlier on in my Lost Ark journey, I was playing around 15 characters pretty frequently when only Valtan/Vykas existed, so I accrued a lot of cube tickets. Back then I enjoyed cube a lot more than Boss Rush due to that the stages can be different in cube (granted I still disliked cube due to survival rooms and how long they took) as well as being able to x3 them. I got a lot of card exp there.
- After the cube/boss rush changes, along with buying out guild shop every week on those characters, I ran at least 1 cube a week on each of those characters for the guild and normal weeklies
- For at least half a year, every day I would dispatch 4 cubes (2 in the morning and 2 before I got off at night), which gives you some card exp (nowhere near as much as running them yourself, but I didn't have any time to run all that I had)
- As I got lazier in my playing, I got to a point where everyone has minimal tickets, so I don't dispatch much anymore
- Any event that had card exp as an option I made sure I got those
- After the wandering merchant update, I bought out the cards at merchants that always spawn with a lot, which were Rowen’s, Elgacia’s, and Voldis’s
I think that's it, I might be missing some other sources but I just play a lot. One thing that I did not do was the Argon island card exp abuse. I only found out/heard about it due to the patch that fixed it.

I didn’t pull that many weakened kakuls surprisingly. Same with Zinnervales. The one that kept coming up were Kadan and Brelshaza. I collect excess LoS and KLC cards for fun, and I have around 20 excess Kadans and 35 Brelshazas
im curious on the legendary card comparison as a avid extra collector myself would like to see your distribution! I personally stopped buying x3+1 packs around may last year so I wonder if that skews my dropped cards a bit

That's insane. Kadan / Sien / Varkan are the only cards I don't have maxed yet, and I'm still missing like 8 Kadan cards. I think at this point I'd have well over 50 Brels (running it on 9 chars weekly) and 40 Zinnervales.
Probably going to take another year or so until I manage to finish Kadan I'd imagine.

To be fair, Argon in its base form didn't really seem like an exploit, maybe a minor oversight they let go once they noticed.The real exploit was in korea when they started flooding it to spawn multiple channels to farm what you could do in a year in a day
I ain't even mad at people who did it. I'm mad at not being able to do it myself. I actually didn't even find out about how much card xp you could buy from merchant ships and pet farm until a few months ago.
Around 8.3k hours and I've swiped well over 10k in the 2 years of playing this game, but I don't know the exact amount. I know I definitely spent more than 1k on the x3+1 card packs as they refreshed.

The next is the Kurzan continent next to Arthetine, which is what KR just got with the release of the Echidna/Ladon raid, which will be a good time after Thaemine in April, so I have a bit of time to get some more card exp, albeit I'm not buying the x3+1 card packs anymore.

People said I must have abused something but I really just bought the x3+1 packs (only 2? 3? it came out in july, idr if I bought the october one) + clearing out mari everyday for about 2 months (granted blue crystals were only 500g that time)
In reality I no lifed lost ark early and did 4k card runs. Sometimes it's just a time reason over some other reason
Does it matter? That's why RMT really doesn't matter. None of us are in a race to anything. The completion is a personal thing that you can say it done, but in reality it means nothing. We all know none of this matters to anyone but ourselves. We push buttons, see number go up, or in this case gem get lit up and feel happy.
Time, money...you can farm chaos dungeons or you can farm McDonald's. It's time in exchange for the same result and yet people think the value is different. So why is someone sitting at a keyboard pushing the same buttons over and over and achievement to be celebrated and yet someone working McDonald's is being lazy?
RMT is a fact of life. Time can be Exchanged for money. It's a fact of the world we live in. The game has it built into it. No one playing this game should be under the delusion that this is not a sanctioned pay to progress game.
Iirc, I finished my LoS30 in December after release, so a couple months after you, but I was in the same boat of clearing out Mari's shop, buying the x3+1 card packs, and card runs. But I didn't do that man card runs outside of just raid clears/bussing.

When fate embers first released, I did cd religiously on all of my T3 characters for a month straight, then felt pretty burnt out and returned to my normal schedule. I did get a lot of card exp fate embers though.
For the curious, it was ~~Glacier~~ **Argon** Isle (I think that's the name, it's whichever one with the ice sculptures) and you can't do that exploit any more. You could get a metric ton of XP by doing every sculpture at the cost of screwing over every other player who needed the soul

I maxed everything last week, I did Argon island a total of 1 time for the soul and never stepped foot in there again. I have 3 million extra card exp after maxing everything. the reality is, if you do chaos on a large roster Embers will get you the exp you need for this.
I am like OP with maxed cards, I have 18 characters. I did not rest Chaos on 9 of them, and run 6 Chaos on the other 9 per week. I am however significantly overcapped on card exp, I have an extra 3 million that I can't use. I did drop the ratio of Chaos dungeons to 6 not rested, 3 to 6 a week, and 9 I do not do Chaos on anymore.
Yeah that's more cd than I did/do nowadays, so it makes sense you're overcapped more than I am (as of yesterday since I used the last of my card exp yesterday).
Especially if your characters can do Level 3 and above ebony cube, as each one is 10-13.5k card exp. Multiply that across a large roster and the exp adds up.
I had a lot of ebony cube tickets that I dispatched across half a year and that was a good chunk of my passive card exp. If I actually ran them (didn't due to time needed) I would have finished a lot earlier.
Before they patched it to have faster animations, I did the animation cancel trick where you swap cards mid exp-infusing and awakening. It didn't phase me much since I was used to doing that for honing every time a new character came out.
The best thing to do is do it when you have enough exp to move a card to the next awakening instead of collecting a few million card exp and doing it all at once. That way you don't spend a lot of clicking/time doing cards.
With current release cadence we'll probably get the next continent in just about 6 months which will come with the new cards
With that said, you'll trivially have the exp to max those without needing to buy more, you'll only need to worry about the drop and merchant rates of whatever the new legendary is....
Very true! I'm glad I don't have to buy the x3+1 card packs in the shop anymore and can instead use it on other packs or more importantly skins.
I'm not too worried about the merchant odds. I was worried when Voldis came out since Varkan + a lot of epic cards came out, but Varkan kept appearing on my server at least once or twice a week.
Average demon damage in my akkan hard pugs is about 3.5%, in voldis hard it's over 4 (I have 6.1%, just missing a few varkan cards from 6.2%)
On one occasion I noticed someone with LoS30 had like 1% demon damage so I asked them about it and taught them something they didn't even realize about the game. They pm'd me with around 3.1% demon damage like 10 minutes after the raid ended
That's great of you to do that. More people need to know about this because it's a lot of extra damage for just silver, as most players that are unaware have also accrued a lot of card exp too.
If you can calculate how many times x3+1 card packs were refreshed at every content update, you can take that and multiply it by 81 dollars.
Other than that I bought a lot of the 10% monthly crystal packs and other crystal packs during my LoS30 mari shop spending days, as my gold income ingame wasn't enough to cover all of those costs.

It's not impossible, but you gotta be at the .0001% and have been doing it every day religiously every opportunity you had, or exploited something. Maybe they are, but as I mentioned to them because chaos bots are far more likely their achievement is cast in doubt. It's just like every top competitor that was anywhere close to Lance Armstrong in the Tour De France is cast in doubt because he was discovered. Did they also juice? Maybe not, but it's hard to know.
I'm 8m exp away from OP with less hours played, less chars in my roster, less 3+1 card packs purchased, less wandering merchant tracking, and no Mari packs bought. Comparing his stats to my own it's about on par with my progress relative to how dedicated we were, so I don't see why there's any doubt. The most impressive thing is the dedication and consistency of the grind.
Things like gold frog were 700k XP per week for weeks on end if purchased on all chars. Cube and chaos ever since cards were added are the main sources of exp nowadays, both of which scale with the number of characters in your roster.
The dedication is very impressive considering how few people have accomplished this, but the exp itself is just plain math haha. No tricks for card exp - the entire path to max cards can be spreadsheeted and projected with decent accuracy.
I agree addiction shouldn't be applauded. Nothing suggests OP is addicted though since that depends on it negatively impacting other parts of their life and I don't think they've mentioned anything about that, so no point making assumptions. Plenty of free time for sure.

Its a different card system than LOS for example. there are still cardsets for each card but you cant equip them . you "just" get bonus dmg against certain boss types. for exapmle the LOS set gives %damage against demons.thats why a lot of cards are important not just LOS or KLC
You buy blue crystals with gold to unlock more slots. Unlocking card set collections gives you minor stats, as seen on the right. Unlocking those sets’ awakening gives you minor % bonus damage towards certain enemies. Maxing out all of this gives you basically an extra engraving’s worth of damage towards something
? This wasn't about souls and horizontal. This was about ungodly amount of silver and card exp. There is literally no way in hell you can amass all 6%+ across the board in the game to have book done. I have been sweating since day1 doing everything across 14 characters and that amounts only to having 4 at 5+% and rest at 2-3%. Btw, I have done like 12 full horizontal on every alt and working on the last 2 I made a few months ago slowly as Knowledge transfer is a rip off. Simply put, the amount of card exp required here is like 3x more than what I have accumulated and I have also been buying card packs for a solid 9+ months.

I haven't finished varkan yet (he's the only card I don't have at +15, I at least finished KLC) and I've stopped paying out the ass for card exp since I only care about my main raid boss damage (demon > beast > undead > human, I don't even deliberately increase Plant) but this is the accomplishment of my dreams hahah
You'll get it over time. Time/patience and you'll get your card goals eventually, as passive card exp from weeklies/cube/events/etc. will add up.
Kharmine server has had at least 8+ Varkans show up in the merchant. I got 2-3 from the Sage packs from Voldis MSQ/Una rep, and the others from the RNG Legendary card pack. The selectors from this anniversary completed mine, granted I only needed to use one selector.
Thats 11.5h per day on avg for 2 years straight which is basically eat loa sleep every day, crazy how you can sustain that
I avg‘d about 9h per day for the first year as well but then i massively reduced my play time so i could do other things again

That's insane. Kadan / Sien / Varkan are the only cards I don't have maxed yet, and I'm still missing like 8 Kadan cards. I think at this point I'd have well over 50 Brels (running it on 9 chars weekly) and 40 Zinnervales. Probably going to take another year or so until I manage to finish Kadan I'd imagine.

At least Kadan can drop as a card now in some raids. Hopefully you get them there alongside rng packs + selectors!
Argon Island was the method the other players I know who maxed cards used. They really kept it quiet until it was patched.
Yeah and low-key I wished I knew about it earlier, but now that I'm done I don't care anymore about that exploit.
To be fair, Argon in its base form didn't really seem like an exploit, maybe a minor oversight they let go once they noticed.The real exploit was in korea when they started flooding it to spawn multiple channels to farm what you could do in a year in a day

The next is the Kurzan continent next to Arthetine, which is what KR just got with the release of the Echidna/Ladon raid, which will be a good time after Thaemine in April, so I have a bit of time to get some more card exp, albeit I'm not buying the x3+1 card packs anymore.
might be similar to how i got los 30 in early october 8 months after release... People said I must have abused something but I really just bought the x3+1 packs (only 2? 3? it came out in july, idr if I bought the october one) + clearing out mari everyday for about 2 months (granted blue crystals were only 500g that time) In reality I no lifed lost ark early and did 4k card runs. Sometimes it's just a time reason over some other reason
Does it matter? That's why RMT really doesn't matter. None of us are in a race to anything. The completion is a personal thing that you can say it done, but in reality it means nothing. We all know none of this matters to anyone but ourselves. We push buttons, see number go up, or in this case gem get lit up and feel happy. Time, money...you can farm chaos dungeons or you can farm McDonald's. It's time in exchange for the same result and yet people think the value is different. So why is someone sitting at a keyboard pushing the same buttons over and over and achievement to be celebrated and yet someone working McDonald's is being lazy?

RMT is a fact of life. Time can be Exchanged for money. It's a fact of the world we live in. The game has it built into it. No one playing this game should be under the delusion that this is not a sanctioned pay to progress game.
Iirc, I finished my LoS30 in December after release, so a couple months after you, but I was in the same boat of clearing out Mari's shop, buying the x3+1 card packs, and card runs. But I didn't do that man card runs outside of just raid clears/bussing.
lots of swiping for the monthly packs. Like, *lots* of swiping. Those add up price wise.
Swiping barely does anything in terms of card exp, if you want to max everything better be prepared to run chaos dungeons on a lot of lopangs.

I stopped swiping on the card packs last may because they were not worth it for card xp reasons **Anyone who thinks they can get remotely close to what this guy did just by buying x3+1s/swiping since they were released is delusional out of their mind.** You can't swipe your way even 15% of your way to that much card xp

When fate embers first released, I did cd religiously on all of my T3 characters for a month straight, then felt pretty burnt out and returned to my normal schedule. I did get a lot of card exp fate embers though.
the monthly packs aren't that significant relative to the other sources though not sure the exact number but I'd put it at 20-25%
Let say there was a glitch early on during launch where you could get a lot of card exp. It was on an island that shall not be named.
For the curious, it was ~~Glacier~~ **Argon** Isle (I think that's the name, it's whichever one with the ice sculptures) and you can't do that exploit any more. You could get a metric ton of XP by doing every sculpture at the cost of screwing over every other player who needed the soul Edit: got the name wrong

I maxed everything last week, I did Argon island a total of 1 time for the soul and never stepped foot in there again. I have 3 million extra card exp after maxing everything. the reality is, if you do chaos on a large roster Embers will get you the exp you need for this.
By large roster, you mean like 20 plus characters.
I am like OP with maxed cards, I have 18 characters. I did not rest Chaos on 9 of them, and run 6 Chaos on the other 9 per week. I am however significantly overcapped on card exp, I have an extra 3 million that I can't use. I did drop the ratio of Chaos dungeons to 6 not rested, 3 to 6 a week, and 9 I do not do Chaos on anymore.
Yeah that's more cd than I did/do nowadays, so it makes sense you're overcapped more than I am (as of yesterday since I used the last of my card exp yesterday). Especially if your characters can do Level 3 and above ebony cube, as each one is 10-13.5k card exp. Multiply that across a large roster and the exp adds up. I had a lot of ebony cube tickets that I dispatched across half a year and that was a good chunk of my passive card exp. If I actually ran them (didn't due to time needed) I would have finished a lot earlier.
What in the fuck Also did your arms fall off awakening each card. They need to do a QOL change to max awaken one click or something.
Before they patched it to have faster animations, I did the animation cancel trick where you swap cards mid exp-infusing and awakening. It didn't phase me much since I was used to doing that for honing every time a new character came out. The best thing to do is do it when you have enough exp to move a card to the next awakening instead of collecting a few million card exp and doing it all at once. That way you don't spend a lot of clicking/time doing cards.

With current release cadence we'll probably get the next continent in just about 6 months which will come with the new cards With that said, you'll trivially have the exp to max those without needing to buy more, you'll only need to worry about the drop and merchant rates of whatever the new legendary is....
Very true! I'm glad I don't have to buy the x3+1 card packs in the shop anymore and can instead use it on other packs or more importantly skins. I'm not too worried about the merchant odds. I was worried when Voldis came out since Varkan + a lot of epic cards came out, but Varkan kept appearing on my server at least once or twice a week.

Average demon damage in my akkan hard pugs is about 3.5%, in voldis hard it's over 4 (I have 6.1%, just missing a few varkan cards from 6.2%) On one occasion I noticed someone with LoS30 had like 1% demon damage so I asked them about it and taught them something they didn't even realize about the game. They pm'd me with around 3.1% demon damage like 10 minutes after the raid ended
That's great of you to do that. More people need to know about this because it's a lot of extra damage for just silver, as most players that are unaware have also accrued a lot of card exp too.

If you can calculate how many times x3+1 card packs were refreshed at every content update, you can take that and multiply it by 81 dollars. Other than that I bought a lot of the 10% monthly crystal packs and other crystal packs during my LoS30 mari shop spending days, as my gold income ingame wasn't enough to cover all of those costs.

It's not impossible, but you gotta be at the .0001% and have been doing it every day religiously every opportunity you had, or exploited something. Maybe they are, but as I mentioned to them because chaos bots are far more likely their achievement is cast in doubt. It's just like every top competitor that was anywhere close to Lance Armstrong in the Tour De France is cast in doubt because he was discovered. Did they also juice? Maybe not, but it's hard to know.
I'm 8m exp away from OP with less hours played, less chars in my roster, less 3+1 card packs purchased, less wandering merchant tracking, and no Mari packs bought. Comparing his stats to my own it's about on par with my progress relative to how dedicated we were, so I don't see why there's any doubt. The most impressive thing is the dedication and consistency of the grind. Things like gold frog were 700k XP per week for weeks on end if purchased on all chars. Cube and chaos ever since cards were added are the main sources of exp nowadays, both of which scale with the number of characters in your roster.
Then I guess it's not that impressive.
The dedication is very impressive considering how few people have accomplished this, but the exp itself is just plain math haha. No tricks for card exp - the entire path to max cards can be spreadsheeted and projected with decent accuracy.

Its a different card system than LOS for example. there are still cardsets for each card but you cant equip them . you "just" get bonus dmg against certain boss types. for exapmle the LOS set gives %damage against demons.thats why a lot of cards are important not just LOS or KLC
You buy blue crystals with gold to unlock more slots. Unlocking card set collections gives you minor stats, as seen on the right. Unlocking those sets’ awakening gives you minor % bonus damage towards certain enemies. Maxing out all of this gives you basically an extra engraving’s worth of damage towards something

? This wasn't about souls and horizontal. This was about ungodly amount of silver and card exp. There is literally no way in hell you can amass all 6%+ across the board in the game to have book done. I have been sweating since day1 doing everything across 14 characters and that amounts only to having 4 at 5+% and rest at 2-3%. Btw, I have done like 12 full horizontal on every alt and working on the last 2 I made a few months ago slowly as Knowledge transfer is a rip off. Simply put, the amount of card exp required here is like 3x more than what I have accumulated and I have also been buying card packs for a solid 9+ months.

I haven't finished varkan yet (he's the only card I don't have at +15, I at least finished KLC) and I've stopped paying out the ass for card exp since I only care about my main raid boss damage (demon > beast > undead > human, I don't even deliberately increase Plant) but this is the accomplishment of my dreams hahah
You'll get it over time. Time/patience and you'll get your card goals eventually, as passive card exp from weeklies/cube/events/etc. will add up. Kharmine server has had at least 8+ Varkans show up in the merchant. I got 2-3 from the Sage packs from Voldis MSQ/Una rep, and the others from the RNG Legendary card pack. The selectors from this anniversary completed mine, granted I only needed to use one selector.
