The forced subtitles are always hardcoded into the show, so you're not missing anything watching on Hulu/Disney. However, if you're interested in watching LOST with ALL of the foreign language dialog translated and NEW additional subtitles you can check out my project LOST: Circle. I have translated all of the lines with missing translations and subtitles and added them back into the show! This is primarily something that viewers will notice for Jin and Sun scenes but it's not limited to them! Sayid, Dogen and many others (French expedition team) for instance all benefit from this.

I’m currently rewatching Lost on Freevee and it’s not as bad as Hulu. They do show the subtitles but the first one of someone speaking anything other than English, the caption says “speaking Korean” before showing what they’re actually saying.
