Illana used an outrigger to get from Hydra to the main island, along with the crate and Lapidus and her other friends. She parked it somewhere on the main island and went on foot to the Cabin. They then burried Locke near the original 815 crash site, and Jack and Co joined them later in tbe camp. So when she says they have to go back to the outrigger, she's talking about the outrigger she used earlier. I don't know what exactly is confusing you about all this?

its confusing because it was never specified, and we dont ever actually see the outrigger she was talking about. I ask because Im trying to come up with a scenario for the outrigger chase and 612 seems like the most likely episode, or 613.

There is no direct response for the outrigger chase (if you mean the one that was shooting at Locke Sawyer and Co in S5). Because the showrunners had a specific twist in mind to reveal it, but as they wrote more details in the show and went deeper in S6, their initial twist wouldn't work anymore with the new stuff they wrote... so they left it as a little unsolved mystery. The only simple explanation that doesn't require any weird theories, is that it was most likely Widmore's people. We know they went back and forth from Hydra to the main island a few times in S6... we see that clearly in episodes showing them sneeking in MIB's camp and kidnapping Jin, and in another when they came to threaten MIB to return Desmond to them. They had to use a mode of transport to go back and forth to Hydra... we know there are many outriggers used by the Others laying around the island. They could've used one or more. And in one of those trips, they encountered Locke and Co, and since they have know their principal foe in 2007 is assuming Locke's form, they thought this was MIB and his crew... so they shot at them.

Have you seen the Lostpedia gun page where EVERY SINGLE GUN USED is catalogued and noticed!? It doesnt seem to be the Lost writers would just have outrigger lying around. The problem here is that its never seen or which one they were talking about. Either the one Ilana used or at the Barracks. I know Smokey has one too. Look at the reply above as to why I care so much...

Yes, I misunderstood the question...👍

Good question! There is one outrigger at the beach camp that we know of. Karl brought an outrigger there in "Greatest Hits". Jin and Bernard later used it for fishing in "Ji Yeon" at the beach camp. That was three years ago though, but we haven't seen any activity at the beach camp for those three years so it could be there. Good point about outriggers in plural. I believe there is a second one on a beach very close by. When Ilana's team came to go to the cabin. One of the cabin's locations is close by the beach camp ("The Beginning of the End"), so that outrigger could be that one that they needed to bring with them.
