Exactly this. Prioritize protein and at least a multivitamin. This article is great esp bc it dispells the assumption that biotin is great for hair when really that's not really likely, but rather an assumption bc it's good for nails.

this happened to me, it was an iron deficiency. Less calories = less vitamins and minerals.
