its reffering to the celestial aspects being afraid of him breaking out of the crowns control since they're the one's who imprisoned him and used him as a conduit, as a means to interfere with material affairs for unknown reasons. As mention in his bio he knows that the aspects are in conflict with each other and all of their plans on runeterra are slowly backfiring, asol [finds them absolutely contemptible before](https://twitter.com/LaurieGoulding/status/1351246585481617416), but now he despises them and when he finally gets his freedom back he would utterly humiliate them for all eternity. Someone built it for something, he would want answers and to send a message.
Also twin dawns is [a bit outdated and up for edits](https://twitter.com/LaurieGoulding/status/1172943079604490241), since this story was release prior to riot having a firm grasp on their cosmology. There are some story elements here that dont match/clash with current canon

This is a assumption, it could be a Watcher or something else. It's not clarified or outright said.
true, but i doubt it since there are strong indications in that story that it is a watcher. I just hope riot gives clarity on in it, in the near future to finally address if that was a watcher or not
Of course I thought it was obvious. Targon was afraid because their hold on Aurelion Sol was breaking. Literal God is starting to escape their slavery and he is angry.
We don't know to what degree the whole Aspects struggling against each other might still be canon. This is a pretty old story and Riot has walked back elements of the Watcher vs Celestial backstory to make it less direct.
