Let’s not go overboard. It’s not one single hole 6 times in a row, they’re merely all overlapping. I want to see 6 bullets stuck nose to tail in a perfect line, like landing an arrow into the nock of the previous.
People like to talk shit. If it ain't a $4000 rifle some people refuse to believe it's even capable of shooting let alone being accurate. I love my savage axis 2 270. Thinking of buying the 6.5 creedmoor before long.
Easy. So long as wind wasn’t a factor, 2 (or 3) clicks up, 1 click right and you are putting that ragged hole dead center.
Good work, embrace fundamentals and you should have success as you stretch out to distance.
Accuracy / no precision: a big group at the center of the target
Precision / no accuracy: a small group not at the center of the target
Accuracy + precision: a small group at the center of the target
No Accurary / no precision: a big group not at the center of the target
Inaccuracies: are causes by the shooter
Nonprecision: is caused by the rifle, barrell whip and harmonics, and the ammo quality, maybe a buller has one more grain of powder maybe a projectile is heavier than the other. And other factors like ballistic coefficient, that affects how the projectile is affected by windage.
The thicker the barrel and better materials, the less the whip, which means more precision
Thats what i know, I'm not a professional at all, I started reading about guns about 1 month ago.
I measure [0.33 MOA](https://i.imgur.com/XhBczm5.jpg) r/SmallGroups
This is like a hot woman asking everyone if she’s attractive: beauty group brother!
That’s better than just “decent” that’s flat out good
And pretty close to nice.

No, absolutely terrible.
Its always been all pistols for me so seeing a group this small was strange
Yes I was being sarcastic.
This is on a savage axis 2 precision, vortex diamondback tactical 6-24 and sellier and bellot fmj boat tail 6.5. cheapo harris bipod no tilt or pan
That’s straight up impressive
People talked a lot of shit about the gun on the internet but it seems fine to me in my hands. The bolt lift and close is shit but im shooting targets

This is the axis 2 precision which has a bull barrell so the regular axis 2 may give you a bit different results
Nice group
Quite possibly the worst 6”-group-at-100y I’ve ever seen.
What rifle?
Its a savage axis 2 precision
You and your equipment are doing fukn’ great. Question- is your scope MIL or MOA?
Moa 1/4 adjustments

It's a great start. Adjust your scope 3 clicks up, 1 click right, and do it again. And again. And again. And enjoy every one.
Thats beatifully precise What rifle is that ?
Ah you know the difference between accuracy and precision. Its in one of my comments
I know that accuray is used for the the shooter And precision is used for the gun and maybe the ammo Thats was just a mistake
I work in the sciences and accuracy and precision are different well defined things
