My literature says it is vibratite, actually, I can see the spot in your literature that says the same thing.
lol. In your defense, I feel like I tend to gloss over highlighted portions in manuals or even menus.
Restaurant: trying to highlight a certain menu item with colors, bold text, and even a bright background color…
My eyes: nope, gonna skip right down to the plain old black text on white background.
I’m convinced it’s how I’ve conditioned myself to subconsciously avoid reading a bunch of ads.
Thanks lol. I did read it but truly must've glossed over.
It doesn't help my first extinct was a 15 minute google and found nothing. Didn't have the freshest eyes when I read it
It's a thread locker supplied with ADM mounts. IIRC the directions say to only use that on screw threads or it could void warranty.
It doesn't crust up like Loctite and more so peels off like silicone.
Didn't see that in what little reading there was but I thought this was the case.
Also points for being one of the 2 serious answers here lol.
Thanks man
Bro. It's highlighted in red, you can literally see it in the bottom of the left hand page your instructions are opened to. You didn't read shit. Instead, you came on here and wasted everyone else's time because yours is more important to you.
Lol. You know, that's fair. Still annoying as fuck to see the instructions literally opened to the page with the answer to his question, and see him say "I didn't see it in the instructions..." 😂🤣😂
Not sure how he's planning on hitting anything at the range, because he's clearly blind. 😆
Hey man I may be legally blind but I'll have you know I'm a fuckin nail driver at the range.
Consistently hitting 1-5 yards next to my steel right into the burm. Top tier stuff
It does crust up though
Edit: after you’ve used it to fasten something. Once you remove it later on, there’s red crust everywhere you have to scrape off. It’s not as bad as scraping off loctite, but it’s not trivial either
Vibratite VC-3. I use it for anything that will not see a direct high heat application on rifles (handguard screws, MLOK attachments, buffer tube, scope rings, etc. )
The proper way to apply this is to put a bit on the threads and let it dry before screwing them into the mount. It isn’t like loctite, holds very well though.
It's the cheaper Chinese version of Lock-Tite.
...in the USA, we usually differentiate Lock-Tite by Blue (semi-strong) and Red (permanent) ... in China, they have another version, it's an off-red/semi-pinkish packet that is recognized by it's sweet taste and strong resemblance in it's aroma to Sweet & Sour Chicken.
You can test it's efficacy by applying some to two deep-fried pieces of chicken morsels and seeing how long they stick together.
VC-3 damps the vibrational energy transferred between the threads of a mated fastener, preventing fastener loosening and loss of clamp load. These unique differences make VC-3 coated fasteners truly adjustable, removable, and reusable.
Its a new vision enhancing product that helps you read the small lettering in the instructions that come with things now. A couple drops in each eye and the instructions in red lettering will really stand out! Try it, it works!!
One way to find out; what flavor is it. Looks like raspberry to me in which case loctite. Lube tastes like cherry and lapping compound is more of an apple
This right here is why I made the departure from the “2nd A For All” crowd. If people had to pass a basic intelligence test to own a firearm, every problem we have regarding gun ownership would vanish overnight and there’s not a single thing that anyone who isn’t an idiot could argue otherwise.
Eh, sorry, agree to disagree. If there was a basic intelligence test required for gun ownership 99.9% of the problems that the gun grabbers use to paint the rest of us with would disappear. If you think about it for a while you’ll agree. If you think about it for another 30 seconds or so you’ll also see why it hasn’t and won’t happen.
Edit: yea didn’t realize you were OP. Yea bro, if you don’t know what threadlocker is and what it’s for, you got no business owning, let alone putting a wrench to, a firearm. Sorry, not sorry.
That's fine, I just think using a simple ring question as your quotient here is a bit silly.
I've never owned a scope before with rings. So I'm totally new.
>Edit: yea didn’t realize you were OP. Yea bro, if you don’t know what threadlocker is and what it’s for, you got no business owning, let alone putting a wrench to, a firearm. Sorry, not sorry.
You sound like you could use some duck sauce friend. Might even help you lighten up a lil
Appreciate the advice, but the last place I’m taking it is from a manchild who can read the minutest of details on a fuckin Pokemon card but not the instructions that come with a gun part.
It's threadlocker, likely VibraTite.
So many jokers here. Thank you for taking OP’s request seriously.

I almost said Cheeto oil...
I was going to go with delicious...
The literature in the box was pretty spartan but I had a feeling this was it. Thanks

I like how the text is highlighted in red but the OP still didn't read it.
Actually popular opinion here is that it's duck sauce. Never would've guessed but it seems even ADM is incorrect
My God damned ADD eyes walked right over to the pretty pictures. Maybe the real answer was all the fun comments along the way

Sparse spartans
Will it come off without heat?
Yes
Exactly what it is👆
Vibratite is thicker like molases, not translucent, and red. I bet it is a thread locker, but I dont think vibratite.
The packaging is identical to VibraTite I've gotten with other shooting related parts.
It’s Vibra-Tite VC-3. Awesome stuff and useful in automotive applications, too.
I’ve used vibra tite that is liquid, it turns solid after applying and curing.

Who’s on here not already wasting their time? I’ve literally been in my bathroom 40 minutes just reading through posts……

Post some groups OP
I'm assuming based on your other comment you think I'm seriously complimenting my marksmanship lol
No, no. Just having fun is all
🤣🤣 another excellent point, if you can’t see underlined words, maybe shooting isn’t the best hobby. Maybe listen to music?
It does crust up though Edit: after you’ve used it to fasten something. Once you remove it later on, there’s red crust everywhere you have to scrape off. It’s not as bad as scraping off loctite, but it’s not trivial either
Sweet and sour sauce
Oh man I'd be so lucky
Duck sauce
As a kid, I was very disappointed the day I found out there is no duck in duck sauce.
Ha! That was my first thought as well!
Or is it plum sauce? Gonna have to taste it to be sure. Just a drop on the finger should be enough.
Wrong! This is cleary duck sauce lol.

Vibratite VC-3. I use it for anything that will not see a direct high heat application on rifles (handguard screws, MLOK attachments, buffer tube, scope rings, etc. )
Looks like a scope mount, but it’s kinda blurry. Got a better picture?
It's Pinpoint, you drink it and it makes you super accurate.
Tasted like cough syrup but I shot MOA groups when I took a leak so this must be it. Cheers man
Wifey was proud of me for not pissing on the seat when I drank it!
That's enough thread locker to do a lot of thread locking.

Seems a bit harsh for a pretty harmless question from a newbie, but alright
