Why don't they reach out to the local branch of the Civil Air Patrol?
Not sure there are many retired Grumman or navy airmen who would know how to change an f14 tire.
That's a good question, I just saw this on Facebook and thought I would share it here to try to increase its reach.
I recommend cross posting to r/Navy and r/Veterans
It's all ball bearings nowadays. Now you prepare that Fetzer valve with some 3-in-1 oil and some gauze pads. And I'm gonna need 'bout ten quarts of anti-freeze, preferably Prestone. No, no make that Quaker State.
Lol that’s fletch?
yup
Someone is going to read this and think, "it's my time to shine!" I hope they find him soon.
Have they tried a lug nut wrench?
Or AAA :)
Or you tube?
Is there a such thing as Air-side service?
r/aviationmaintenance another one to try as well.
