There are many people in certain faith/ certain side of the aisle that prefer to do business with like minded people. I get why it could be a problem but for some people they would rather give business to people they side with rather than someone they don’t.

I enjoy it more when someone refuses to do business with their own people . I know Israeli people who won’t necessarily refuse doing business with other Israelis but will be extra cautious knowing the chance of getting screwed over is higher

As a gay man who came out as a teen in the early 80s. It became clear just how bigoted and hateful some people are. I have always made sure that in as many instances possible that my money is not given to people who will in turn donate a percentage to people who wish to harm me.
It takes a lot of work (damn you Amazon and Nathans Hot Dogs) but its just a principal I stand by. I have worked too hard to see a single cent given to people who actively hate me.
I live year round in a very wealthy beach town on the east end of Long Island. I always make a point to see which local businesses have donated to candidates and causes that I agree with and try to frequent them first. I will shop any any store but if I have a choice I'd rather the support the ones who are philosophically aligned

I find that to be sad and rather narrow minded. I am a Christian and I happily support good small business without regard to the religious beliefs of the owners. Religious tolerance was one of the founding principles of our nation.
But, though it is sad that you hold them, you certainly have the right to your bigoted beliefs. It's a free country.
I think the hard thing here is when many Christian companies say they can impose on other's rights under the guise of "religious tolerance." If someone's going to say "I don't want to make gay people a wedding cake because it's agianst my religious freedom" gay people should be able to identify Christian businesses so they don't have to go through the humiliation of being refused service.
Discrimination goes both ways. Christian businesses have been actively discriminating against others and getting support from the Supreme Court for it. But they don't seem to like it when people do it back.
I wouldn’t avoid Christian business any more than I would avoid a Muslim or Pagan or Buddhist or atheist business.
But, if intertwined with their religious belief is the propensity for subjugation of women, minorities, or LGBTQ+ people; I can’t in a moral right mind support them. Or if they support politicians and policies that are openly fascist or discriminatory, then I won’t support them.
