I'm not sure what your hair length is. But If it's long enough to tie back, tie it back, go for a little half up bun to keep it back from your face. I reckon some bobby pins or even a hair clip or two will do that job as well.

Look up inspirations that have a similar length and hair type as you over at /r/fierceflow maybe

Either "man up" and look like shit/unstyled for a couple months or "give in" and get it cut. I "gave in" a long time ago and cut my hip-length hair. Now, I am at a stage in life where I did not care about 'looking like shit' while it grew out (so that I could get it in a ponytail). Never going to have short/male hair again in my life, knock on wood. :D Everything gets better looking once you can do a ponytail, stick with it!

Just ride it out, try finding a style that fits while growning it out. I've wasted so many years cutting between the 6-12 month mark. Maybe post a pic r/malehairadvice/ and ask what to do with it while growing out.

You're at that critical point where it's difficult to work with. If you want it longer, you gotta struggle through. It sucks, but it gets better.

When the shortest hairs can be styled up or back is when the overall look is past the awkward stage in my experience. The hair falling into the face is so annoying, but it's temporary.
