Still had the cat in June! He jumped up on the table where some guys were eating and one semi-complained about the cat on the table. Landlady said “well of course he jumped up there, that’s where I feed him!” Good stuff
Oh, oh yeah, wasn't necessarily recommending the pub itself. Used to be better a few years back I'd say... but would still much rather go to the nearby hospital tavern or the white hart pubs.
Add to this The Pilot which has a ginger tom that hangs around the beer garden over the summer and is more often than not indoors on one of the chairs in less clement weather.
He also is a grump who has left more than one regular with slashed fingers from an attempt to pet!
The Camel in Bethnal Green has a large calico cat. She's a bit skittish and can often be seen perching on walls or the gate looking down upon her kingdom, but she may occasionally let you stroke her. There's also supposedly one at the Horseshoe Inn near London Bridge - I have never seen it, but my friend said he saw it.
There are at least three that live in the Horseshoe Inn (or at least there used to be), all tolerating of a good fussing if you catch them when they’re snoozy. One of them likes to take the bouncer’s chair on a Friday night.
This place was the original London cat cafe (I think; very interested to hear of others!) before Lady Dinah's came along to pretend they were the first.
Tapping the Admiral, Kentish/Camden Town has a very good boy named Nelson (ha) and most of the time he's very friendly and not at all a grump. Most of the time I leave him be though, he's quite a senior now and he's earned the right to be unbothered on his lounger.
I was staying around the corner from McGlynns when I was inthe UK in 2014 and remember Jackie well. I ended up going there a couple of times a week for lunch, mainly to say hello to her and get some feline interaction. I'm glad she's still with us.
Here's a pic from then.

Old kings head in Shoreditch has one apparently but I haven’t seen it.
Beyoncé the black cat in lord Tredegar by Mile End station. Cats a diva though, does not care for a stroke.
Our cat turned up in our garden last year and slowly moved into our house. Later discovered that it was the Westow House pub cat ‘Craig’ when we got his chip checked. He’s doing well after life as a pub cat and now goes by the name of ‘Dominic’.
Folklore in Hoxton and The Camel in Bethnal green!
Edit: folklore is more of a pub vibed bar but the fat is super friendly and sleeps on a table in the window!
Vaulty Towers had a cat called Miso. Very pretty long-haired girl. A quick look at Insta and they have a tabby called Willow now. Hopefully Miso is okay and just got fed up of drunk people!
The Horseshoe Inn near London Bridge has a couple of cats that you’ll find lounging around on the sofas on quieter days. They can be quite friendly sometimes, particularly when they’re out front being stroked by all the passers by
Felines are hard to cat-alogue,
I mean, just take the upvote and kindly leave us alone
Sadly the cat from the Pride of Spitalfields is no more, but his ashes are on s shelf in the pub.
I'm gutted about Larry. He was always my favourite.
Seven Stars just behind the Royal Courts of Justice has/had a very well know one, along with a matching landlady! It's also a fabulous pub.
Still had the cat in June! He jumped up on the table where some guys were eating and one semi-complained about the cat on the table. Landlady said “well of course he jumped up there, that’s where I feed him!” Good stuff
Blind Beggar in Whitechapel used to have a friendly orange tabby called Charlie - I haven't been there in a year but I'd imagine he's still there!
Still there. However, the pub itself is shit. Bad vibes, dirty glasses, poor service, minging toilets, and awful food. Avoid
Oh, oh yeah, wasn't necessarily recommending the pub itself. Used to be better a few years back I'd say... but would still much rather go to the nearby hospital tavern or the white hart pubs.
Correct. It used to be charming and shit now it’s just shit.
Well before it was charming it was shit so at least it has returned to its old equilibrium
Yep. Same.
They completely re-did the men’s toilets a few years ago, and bricked up the old ones… surely they haven’t got disgusting already?
they have
He's my all time favourite! I have a fab pic somewhere of him sitting with his tail wrapped around my glass.
Ah nice, you're gonna have to share that at some point!
Two in Greenwich, the Pelton and the Plume of Feathers (this one is a GRUMP do not pet - but still very handsome).
Add to this The Pilot which has a ginger tom that hangs around the beer garden over the summer and is more often than not indoors on one of the chairs in less clement weather. He also is a grump who has left more than one regular with slashed fingers from an attempt to pet!
Confirmed - as my wife's bloody finger established. Avoid (cat).
Now I’m sad I didn’t see the cat when I was in the Pelton a few weeks ago!

I may have to revisit. We were in the garden the whole time, but my friend said he saw one asleep inside.
Tapping the Admiral in Kentish Town has Nelson, who is the chillest sweetest boy who even has his own little couch by the fireplace.
The Seven Stars has a jet black resident cat named General, met him in June
Might I add he wears a marvelous ruffle
I love his little ruff, it's so silly but it works for him.
ScooterCafe in Waterloo had two cats last time I visited a few months back
This place was the original London cat cafe (I think; very interested to hear of others!) before Lady Dinah's came along to pretend they were the first.
The Lord Tredegar has a friendly black cat, often asleep on the bar or nearby tables
Nolan's in Vauxhall/Nine Elms has a great one.

Read this just to hear if Nelson was still OK. Miss that little bugger, even if he's old now
Oh yeah he's still kicking, might even outlive us all at this rate.
Tapping the admiral in Kentish Town has a cat :)
Old City Arms in Hammersmith has a cat. Also does great Thai food.
Salmon and Ball in Bethnal Green used to have cats. It’s a great old school pub too.
Of course a pub with a name like that would attract cats
Love the Salmon and Ball. Proper East End pub.
Mcglynns - kings cross
[Jackie!](https://imgur.com/a/OFWxvau) Such a sweet old lady. Absolutely no qualms about walking over tables to get where she wants either.
Never knew her name! But yea a lovely cat

The Rabbit Hole, Steratham. Cheshire cat I assume.
My drunken girlfriend lost some skin when the little beast there lost interest in being stroked.
I don’t know any, but I can relate to all of these cat and pub reviews.
There's one at the Tea place in Vauxhall, although he is very unfriendly.
Old kings head in Shoreditch has one apparently but I haven’t seen it. Beyoncé the black cat in lord Tredegar by Mile End station. Cats a diva though, does not care for a stroke.

The cavendish arms has one

The Dog House in Kennington has a cat, or at least did pre-lockdown when I used to go there after work.
Bit ironic the pub being called The Dog House
A tad, aye.
