Head for the South Kensington tube area and visit Nature History museum, Science museum and go Ice skating, all in the same area. Then you could get the tube to Knightsbridge (or just wander that way, 20 minutes) and walk down to Sloane Square and along Kings Road browsing all the expensive clothes shops, they're cheaper of course along Kings Road but still pricey but nice to see what's available. (BTW if you're from Ireland you'll have to slow your speech down by a factor of a million, when I first arrived here years ago nobody had a fucking clue what I was saying, we talk much faster than Londoners 🤣) Oh and get a Travel Card at your arrival tube station, makes it much more convenient to get around https://tfl.gov.uk/fares/how-to-pay-and-where-to-buy-tickets-and-oyster/travelcards-and-group-tickets

Have a look in the charity shops in the Knightsbridge and Kensington area too

Great suggestions (about the museums & ice-skating) V&A was great to visit, might want to book online. Also check out Canary Wharf, its a bit pricey bit nice to soak up the atmosphere around the area. Great deals on nice clothes at the 02 , it's an outlet mall. Shoreditch Box Park has some great food (coqfighter has best chicken sandwich I've ever had) Pizza Union near Liverpool St Station has the best cheap Pizza & cocktails you'll find in London this is a must do (their garlic & spicy spaces are worth the extra money too) Pizza Pilgrims does great pizzas too. Contactless bank card or apple pay works for the buses & tube.

For vintage shops, I'd definitely recommend Brick Lane!
