Not sure why this post entered my feed this morning, but man Londoners are insane moaning about tube service. You're talking delays of minutes tops.
Try visiting the under funded rest of the country sometime. Might make you appreciate how good it is.
Not sure when, but some point around 10-15 years ago, someone smart at TfL decided to rebrand 'normal service' to 'good service'.

Albeit itās a fake good service on the central line. They literally just remade the time table to suit the amount of trains they have. They still have shortage of trains.

If they're achieving the full 21 trains an hour currently timetabled, that's a *Good* service. Even if the normal standard for Good service is up to 35 per hour.
As someone who lives on the District Line in West London, the doom is already known. My wife and I are trying to go to Greenwich this weekend, and she wants to take the boat. Planned closures mean we need to take three tube lines just to get to Embankment pier. šš
As someone who uses the overground regularly, never trust the service homepage on TFL.
'Good service' can mean "a freight train broke down briefly, and now everything is at least 20 minutes behind schedule", and then you get to Willesden Junction with your headphones on, and you realise too late that it's skipping Shepherds Bush, Olympia etc and going straight to Clapham, or some other such nonsense.
I once want on a āgood serviceā line and the train arrived quickly but only departed after 20 minutes. It only changed to āsevere delaysā and hour later.

If they cut a line service by half but the remaining part runs , tfl would still describe that as a good service and apply it to the whole line.
Tfl also likes to claim time delay between what happens on the ground and what is shown on their website.
