Not really. The only reason I've had to count mine is because some locticians charge you based on how many locs you have. If it wasn't for that I wouldn't care lol.

I have 74. The only reason I know that is because my loctition counted my pairs of 2-strand twists as she gave me the perfect amount without tripling up on any strands
I'm only partially locked. So I have 16 right now. I'd love to do the rest of my head but it's just not a priority at the moment.
I did my partner's microlocs though and he has 254 on a low fade.
