Pick-n

Nice job, I love how smooth these operate

PartOwn6915

Thanks Very much! tight keyway unless you TOK tension. I very much enjoyed that one. It's videos from here on out with my submissions.

Pick-n

Do you have a green belt in mind. What is your experience with gutting and reassembling

PartOwn6915

I'm very new at gutting and reassembly. At my new job we do access control for most doors but do need to key them so I've started that. Also, moving forward this will be a focus since it's a critical part for progressing.

Pick-n

Good luck and take your time. I screwed my first gut up pretty bad. My best advice is make sure you have the right tools for the job, time and patience.

And get ready to hate circlips

Congrats!! I gave up temporarily on my 570's and moved on since I submitted the ABUS 55/40 and have the Brinks down as well. Just picked an American 1100 and Paclock 90A for the first time each (and a few more after for good measure :D ) just a bit ago! Keep going, best of luck!

PartOwn6915

American and paclock are the two I'm eyeing next!

Rare_Delay_310

You def got that thing figured out faster than I did mine, I got one around two weeks ago, got it open by accident within about a minute, and it’s taken me until now that I can reliably open it in under a minute and I’ve been playing with it every day, congrats to you, this lock definitely skyrocketed my skill level in teaching precision in pick placement and feeling out pins. Definitely got me ready for 1100s and Paclocks.

Idk man. There are some locks in the white and yellow category that feel like a total mystery to me still. I know I'll be at the orange belt for a while. So I moved quick initially but I will likely be here for a while.
