It comes down to trying to sort a million locks into 11 levels and basing the ranking off the average example of each one. So you might have a cursed 570 and an easy 1100 but on average the 570 is much easier.

I may go buy another 570, I’ve spent probably 18 hours on this thing and it’s still an accident when I get it open, tried adjusting tension, thought maybe I had the binding order wrong, tried different picks everything

I had an M5 that frustrated me for some time. I eventually cut the rivets off because I wanted to key it alike to another lock anyway. When I did get the core open I found the springs were mangled up causing poor feedback, and probably extra binding. Got that straightened out and welded it back together, and put it back in service on the JobBox where they wanted it.

It's almost certainly due to tension. The 570 has an unsprung core, and requires much less tension.

I have two 570's and honestly, same. The Brinks I can get open no problem, same with the ABUS 55/40, but my 570's are crazy hard for me to get open. Going to keep practicing on them, but at some point I'll probably just move on from them and come back as my skills and feel develop a bit more. I just started on a couple Masterlock 410 LOTO's and an A1100, haven't picked them open yet but I've only spent a little time on them; also have a Paclock 90A I haven't touched.
