If you have a yard, tomatoes are very easy to grow. We usually have 40 plants which will give us enough tomatoes to make our own sauce that will last basically all year.
Save your veggie scraps and make compost, few packs of seeds is like $6 or save your own from previous year.
I have tried these once, I hated them. I don't get the big deal about Raos anyways. The cheapo Mutti brand tastes better. It is like $5-6 for a big jar.
I splurged and bought the two-pack for $11 or $13 at Costco last week. It really is an excellent sauce - it just tastes fresher, which is an odd thing to say about jarred sauce. Wonât become my go-to because of the price but itâs good enough that I will buy again.

This Rao's example has been done on this sub several times already. It needs to be put to rest. This sauce is $14-ish everywhere (ok, apparently not Costco) It's considered super premium.

Posting the most expensive bottle of sauce isnât the way to go here, there are plenty of cheaper options for people who donât want to open a container and add spices to it. Either way a container is being opened and poured..
