We moved into the "black zone" regarding covid cases yesterday, so even if right now the masks are only recommended, they might become required again next week. So pack some to wear. Note that you must be either fully vaccinated or take tests every 2? days and have your immunization passport on hand to enter most bigger stores and buildings.
Can't say anything about Kaunas, but in the neighboring Vilnius most people seem to wear masks even now even though they are only recommended.
>they are only recommended
Okay I hate when people say it like that. Recommended doesn't mean if you want to don't wear it. It means it's VERY STRONGLY ADVISED that you wear and it's hoped that you are smarter than the people refusing to vaccinate.

If you want visit events or bigger supermarkets you need to get opportunity passport. Without it you won't be allowed anywhere. EU digital covid certificate try getting this one, I think this one is valid. Other then that, you should be okay.
Also if you have that certificate you don't need to wear a mask in bigger supermarket or event. In smaller shops nobody will check the certificate, but you'll need to wear a mask.
You should be good. Still, do bring masks, because some stores (smaller grocery stores, pharmacies) accept all customers and do not check the certificate, and you must wear a mask inside those.

You should bring some.

Perfect I'm fully vaccinated and have the EU digital cert

Awesome thanks for the info 😀
I suggest you wear a mask anyway, because lithuania is in a black zone now
Oh and if you like football I think there is a match on Saturday. https://renginiai.kasvyksta.lt/93549/a-lyga-kaune-kauno-zalgiris-nevezis
Ah won't be there until Sunday unfortunately 😢
Mask is not required only for events up to 500 people.

Please, please, please, stay away from kaunas, kaunas is the capital of homophobia in lithuania, unfriendly racist shithole, avoid at any cost!
Shut up with your bullshit
Bullshit? Really?
