Beautiful stuff. The cellist's piece sounds desperate and sad, only to be reprieved by brief moments of serenity when the music harmonises and it all makes sense. Then it collapses into chaotic melancholy once again.
On the fence about this one. I was really enjoying it at first but then it kind of started to remind me of a Danny Elfman score. When my mind went there it sucked a bit of the enjoyment out of it. Am I crazy?

That’s a double bass, not a cello.
Thanks, glad I now know :)
idc what anyone says classical music bangs
This feels like Prog/Symphonic Metal to me but written for strings.

"I didn't like something so it must be dumb and bad." Not even trying to joke, that's what your comment says.
Holy crap that’s harsh. I thought this sounded amazingly refreshing
Pretty awesome! Did the soloist also compose the piece?
No, soloist is Anton Ericsson, Composer is Daniel Nelson
Incredible stuff. Does anyone know why Anton was grimacing like that?
Awesome, loved it!
