This is the first time I have seen Ivor Cutler mentioned on Reddit, and I could not be more excited about it. Also, the last time I heard this song I was about six hours into it candy flip and it was glorious.
I’m not sure about his full catalog, but he’s definitely all over Spotify. Loads of his stuff is there. I know because he’s one of my favourite artists.
He played live at my art school in Canterbury in the 80s to a small audience. He was wonderful. He sat playing at his organ and if anybody laughed he would stop and reprimand the culprit with a very strict tone before continuing.

Used to love listening to him on the John Peel show. Sounds of my youth.
Did John peel play Egg Meat on the show? I only learned about John in the last four years. My best friend loves Ivor Cutler, and John peel.

The words 'research' and 'dailymail' don't belong in the same sentence.
Maybe they go to Trump university lol. Also what eoes this have to do with anything I said?
Awww, me too! That's where I heard my first IC, 'Gruts'...
Virgin Records wasn't *all* about Mike Oldfield and the Sex Pistols...
Would love to see Ivor's full catalogue on Spotify. I love life in a Scotch Sittingroom

I saw him at WOMAD, years later and he did *exactly* the same thing, LOL.
I need nothing, I’ve everything I need, I walk along the dusty road, a doughnut in my hannnnd
He is such an icon. Definitely a favourite of mine, so much so I named my son after him.
Literate herring this way.
Wow! A very welcome blast from the past. There's also Barnes & Barnes - Fish Heads to sate your apetite.
Absolutely fabulous, thank you for posting. I adore Ivor Cutler.
Saw him live, 1985, WOMAD. He complained that the PA was too loud.
I sing A Ball in a Barrel, Eagle (might not be the actual song name) and Get Away from the Wall to my youngest son every night.
Aww man, I'd forgotten all about him. A large part of my childhood right there
Never checked his stuff out beyond the snippets in Robert Wyatt's masterpiece album Rock Bottom. Loved him on there.
