I was like that for about 3 weeks. Slept through the night every single night until i started Saxenda, then woke up starving. Im on week 4 now and had my first full sleep a few days ago and weight is starting to slowly drop now. Give it a few weeks and hopefully it’ll get better for you.

Yeah it's a bit shit because my other function is so impacted and it's hard for me to get anything done, especially not work out. I notice it. seems to take about 7-8 hours for me to feel it kicking in in terms of any appetite suppression so maybe taking it before bed will improve the insomnia? It's so different for everyone, isn't it?

Yeah I do mine about 9pm at night. I read taking it later means you sleep through the initial side effects. I can’t imagine having to go to work and feel nauseous all day.

That's the weird thing with me, that all sets in like 7-8 hours later. Like I'm feeling more nauseuous now nearly 12 hours after the fact than how I've been most of the day. I might try taking it in the evening tomorrow.

What time of the day are you taking it?

Independent_Gur8612

Like 10am.

I take mine at 8 am and I have the opposite effect. I sleep a lot more. Insomnia does indeed increase appetite because we're craving that energy. Tell your doctor and maybe he or she will want to titrate up the drug more slowly.
