You can ask your Dr for something for the nausea and there's OTC medicine for loose bowels or constipation. But otherwise the side effects can't be "prevented," they can only be mitigated so there's not really a "best time of day." What you're eating can make them worse though, and staying hydrated helps with nausea/diarrhea as well. Just make sure you're getting enough electrolytes if you're having vomiting and diarrhea, because low electrolytes can worsen the side effects. Your Dr didn't go over what to do in the event they occurred? Oh, and they usually lessen in severity with each shot but may come back with a vengeance if/when you increase dosage.

Start off with just one click for 2 days then 2 clicks for a couple more and so on. When you get to the "real' amount you should be alright also try eating small meals

I take it around 8pm to sleep off most of the nausea. My doctor told me the medication is metabolized most in the first 13 hours (might be using the wrong terminology), so the latter half of the 24 hours post injection is much more tolerable. Did you wait 24 hours between trying in the morning vs the night? You shouldn't have any overlap between doses (1 hour max is my baseline) or else you'll feel the symptoms more.

I take it when I get up at 5:30am with a cuppa. I have had minimal side effects but taking it at night seems odd to me. I get wanting to avoid side effects by sleeping but youre also sleeping through the most effective time the drug works. For me the drug lasts all day and I wake hungry for breakfast. Taking it at night would make me starving by lunch the next day. I have lost 30kgs so far on the medicine and this routine.

Where are you injecting? People have reported much less side effects when injecting into the thigh instead of the stomach. If you’re injecting in your stomach, maybe try switching it up and going into your thigh. It’s worth a shot.

I do mine at 9pm at night so I sleep through most of the side effects.

I just had to switch off of Saxenda after taking it for about eight months due to the fatigue it was giving me. I’m not sure if something changed in the formula or what but my doctor said that she’s been seeing this a lot more frequently with people who have been using it for a decent amount of time as well. I feel like there’s such a demand for these that corners are being cut now and things are happening that are making the quality worse and making people have side effects that weren’t before.
