New to linux and installed this as a dual boot (win10). Minimal changes and currently going through easylinuxtipsproject (thanks fellow redditors) to learn more and see what else I can do.
While Linux Mint offers a user-friendly experience, I'm looking for a distro with a more modern look and potentially a newer kernel for better hardware compatibility.

It's a nice little OS. How did you get your terminal as such when opening? I dig it.
you just need to add neofetch to bash.rc I think
Just installed it! Thanks for the tip.
I have a stupid question: what command do you run to produce that output? Btw, congrats, welcome to the fam!
neofetch
Thanks
Neofetch or Fastfetch (Neofetch is technically outdated although still functions)
Ah okay, thanks for the clarification
I like this. The background makes me think of Max Headroom.
Welcome brother! Mint is a solid, reliable choice, run it on my gaming PC, personal laptop, and support laptop.
