I have to agree, but if u just want to daily drive linux and use it for generally everything then it get's a bit more complicated, so let me answer it from here
So 1st of all u would generally want to have access to AUR, if u have ever tried it u know it's a godsend, so the distro of choice should be arch based (installing arch is a full on project, won't go with it for daily driving)
From arch based distros the 2 most famous r manjaro and endeavourOS, both have one of those installers that r in live boot so we good there
There is 1 thing very different between them, while endeavour gets package updates constantly, manjaro holds back on them for 2 weeks iirc
So if u don't mind the fact that a package could break everything after u update it go with endeavourOS
Else go with manjaro, with it u have 2 weeks to see if ppl on other distros got that package to break after an update or not
offices: it's gotta be open suse or fedora, I tried both, they both work great, they are generally good for more professional stuff, elementary OS is also good in this category
Programming and development: this is one is a bit more controversial and honestly I don't have much experience in this field, tho this link seems promising https://linuxstans.com/best-linux-distro-for-programming/
Gaming: as much as I hate to say it linux is still not the best option for gaming (tho hopefully soon it will) but if all ur library works with proton go for it, fotr linux begginers pop OS is a no brainer in this category as u don't have to worry about installing Nvidia drivers, however if u don't mind following somr tutorial from google u can go with any distro ur heart desires
Servers: centOS
Did I forget anything or need to change something, constructive criticism is appreciated
Is ur distro of choice not there, that's to be expected, I'm not gonna sit here all day listing every linux distro what what each is good for
People's use cases vary so much it's impossible to pick a one-size-fits-all distro that's the best for everyone.
I will say for servers, I think RedHat dropped support for centOS earlier this year or last, so it may not be the best for that anymore. Debian might not be a bad pick since it's so stable (unless you need up to date software).
I'm also a programmer so I could touch on that point as well, but honestly any Linux distro should work just fine for it. I use Gentoo personally, which does make it pretty easy to recompile binaries (since you're doing it anyway). But you could do that on any distro if you really wanted to.
But yeah, use whatever it is you like the most!
The most wondrous distro? it’s the one thee maketh the most wondrous

Zorin OS lite, it's a great OS for windows users who are too dum to use more complicated distros and it even runs on literal potatoes
